The Backstreet Boys may be busy rehearsing songs for their new album, but member A.J. McLean is going to have to add some lullabies to his song list! His wife Rochelle gave birth to baby daughter Ava Jaymes on Nov. 27 in Los Angeles.

A.J., 34, wrote on his website, “Rochelle and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our baby. She arrived at 4:51 a.m. weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz. We are so in love with our bundle of joy and happy to have started our family now.”

The pop star and his wife took to YouTube back in April to announce the pregnancy in a video for fans. “I just wanted to say thank you guys for all your love and support…Because we love you all so much, we wanted to share with you — for the first time — something very special. We’re having a baby,” A.J. said.

Just as A.J. and his BSB buddies have kept fans waiting for new music, Ava kept her parents waiting, as well. On Sunday, Nov. 25 — the expected due date — Rochelle tweeted her impatience. “Come on AVA!!! It never takes Mommy this long to get ready!” she wrote. “Being punctual is a great quality to have!! Now come out so we can see you!!”

Former boy band star, A.J. McLean and his wife Rochelle Karidis shared some exciting news with their fans via YouTube on April 29 — they’re expecting a baby!

“I just wanted to say thank you guys for all your love and support . . . Because we love you all so much, we wanted to share with you — for the first time — something very special. We’re having a baby!” A.J. gushed to the camera while Rochelle sat by his side.

A.J., 34, proposed to Rochelle, 34, in January 2010 during a live concert in Las Vegas. The couple tied the knot in December of 2011 at the Beverly Hills hotel. “You are my whole world and I cannot wait to spend my life with you,” he tweeted last year. “Without you here, I am lost!”

Backstreet Boys hunk A.J. McLean and his girlfriend Rochelle Karidis have walked down the aisle!

A.J., 33, married Rochelle at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles on Dec. 17, Us Weekly reports. The nuptials were attended by all of A.J.’s fellow Backstreet Boys, as well as celebs such as Kathy Griffin and Joey McIntyre.

The modern ceremony was officiated by celeb photographer Tyler Shields, and Rochelle walked down the aisle to the classic Guns N’ Roses anthem “November Rain.”

Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean is celebrating more than just his birthday this weekend — he’s also toasting a new engagement! While partying at Las Vegas’ Wasted Space nightclub with girlfriend Rochelle Deanna Karidis last night, A.J. asked the DJ to turn off the music so he could ask a very important question, People is reporting. Eyewitnesses saw the Backstreet Boy get down on one knee and place a ring on his new bride-to-be’s finger.

“She seemed very surprised and didn’t seem to know why he was getting on stage,” a source tells the mag. “Even his friends were shocked. They all knew he was going to propose but didn’t think he would do it tonight.”

Apparently it was pretty spur of the moment — another source tells People that A.J. bought the ring at Rocks, a jewelry store at the Hard Rock Hotel, just hours before proposing to Rochelle!

Wow! Don’t lose that spontaneity, A.J. It’ll keep your romance alive for years to come.
