Khalil Sharief (born Khalil Amir Sharief in Sacramento, California on November 22, 1994) is an American R&B singer. He signed with the label Def Jam Records in 2008, but his album was never released. However, he was featured on three songs on Lil Twist’s mixtape “The Golden Child,” and he continues to write and produce songs on his own. In 2012, Khalil released a documentary called “Khalil: A Long Story Short,” which is a 6 minute long peek at his life as a recording artist in Los Angeles. Then, in June of 2013, Khalil premiered his video for “Stars” on VEVO.

Khalil Sharief is best known for his Jan. 23, 2014 arrest with his friend Justin Bieber. Khalil was the man racing Justin when the superstar was arrested early Thursday morning for drag racing and DUI.

Khalil Sharief is a member of Justin Bieber’s entourage, and he was arrested on Jan. 23 for drag racing under the influence with the troubled star. Khalil drove a red Ferrari, while Bieber was in a yellow Lamborghini.
