Taylor Swift just can’t catch a break! Recently, Tay has had a string of celebrity haters, including Michael J. Fox, Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler – and it looks like 98 Degrees is the latest to join the group!

In an interview with MTV News, the boys shared some words of wisdom with young boy bands like One Direction and The Wanted. The band’s lead singer Nick Lachey took the opportunity to warn the boys about songwriter girlfriends.

“And stay away from Taylor Swift!” Nick added. “She’ll write a song about you… Oh! I’m too late on that one. I didn’t get to [that advice] fast enough. [The song will] be a hit, but it will be about you.”

Although Nick was definitely aiming that comment at Harry Styles, he was also referencing his marriage to Jessica Simpson. Nick definitely knows a thing or two about being romantically involved with a fellow artist!

One Direction Disses Taylor Swift In Concert

Nick wasn’t the only one slamming Taylor this week, One Direction did too! During a concert in Newcastle on April 8, the band performed their song “Little Things.” Right after Harry sang “I’m in love with you,” one of the other boys yelled out “Taylor Swift!”

Although it wasn’t Harry who said Taylor’s name, it’s clear that one of his bandmates was playing a prank on him!

After reuniting, Nick Lachey, 39, and the rest of his 98 Degrees bandmates released their new single “Microphone” on March 22! The song’s debut comes two months after the boy band announced they will be joining New Kids On The Block and Boyz II Men for a The Package Tour this summer. HollywoodLife.com was in boy band heaven on Jan. 22, when we had the opportunity to attend a private concert in New York City with the stars of the Package Tour: New Kids On The Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. The 12 boy band members announced their plans to tour North America this summer on The View earlier that day, and fans went crazy on Twitter! NKOTB, Boyz II Men & 98 Degrees Perform Secret Show

On Jan. 22, three of the 90′s biggest boy bands met for a secret show at NYC’s Irving Plaza, where they talked about the Package Tour. Drew Lachey of 98 Degrees said “I promise every night, every show, we are gonna bring 100 percent, and you guys are gonna have the time of your life.”

Meanwhile, Donnie spilled all the juicy details, as he exclusively told us that “Yes, there will be surprise guests, but if I told you who it was it wouldn’t be a surprise.” He would not confirm if one of those guests would be Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, however. Perhaps brother Mark Walberg is too busy to take time out of his pants dropping schedule/successful film career!

Donnie also revealed that all 12 members “will sing together”, and Jordan Knight confirmed that fans will hear “new songs, songs they have never heard before” from NKOTB.

“The Package Tour” as the guys are calling it, will feature three generations of boy bands — New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, and 98 Degrees. Kids were jumping for joy all over the world hearing the news of their favorite childhood bands! See some of the comments below!

“I do” cherish the news that 98 Degrees is rumored to get back together for a summer tour!

“Is it me, or does 98degrees.com look a little different that it did yesterday? just saying………” Nick Lachey tweeted March 29. The website appears to be updated for first time in years!

According to Rumorfix.com, the beloved boy band is getting together for a 15-city summer tour. This would be the first time the group – with brothers Nick and Drew Lachey,  Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre — has reunited in 10 years.

But the guys in the band are keeping their lips sealed. Jeff responded to a fan on Twitter who asked about the news, saying, “ just rumors right now tho!”

I think it would be the hardest thing for fans if these rumors are really just rumors!

John Mayer – The dark horse of the bunch might actually give him underdog status. This rear has been clutched by many of Hollywood’s elite including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Love Hewitt! Not a bad resume at all!

Eric Johnson – Also blessed with being an athlete and former NFLer, Eric has one thing the others don’t have and that is Jessica. So maybe she is telling the truth, and found the tush that will lead her though sickness and in health!

The former 98 Degrees singer says it’s not his songs he wants to hear at the wedding, but Sade!

Nick Lachey, 37, is ready to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, 30, but will he be performing at this wedding like he did last time? When the former boy band member married Jessica Simpson in 2002, he sang “My Everything” at the wedding reception and even got all choked up! This time around he says he will probably be looking for something a little different.

“There are obviously countless songs that fall into that category,” he told us on a call promoting his NBC show, The Sing Off, Nov. 15.

“I can probably most easily answer it this way, aside from all 98 Degrees songs, which make the perfect wedding songs, Sade is my favorite kind of romantic artist out there. There’s no better concert I’ve been to in terms of romantic vibe than a Sade concert. So pretty much anything she sings, especially live, would fall into that category!”

If he loves her live, does that mean Sade will be singing at Nick’s wedding? He claims they haven’t even started planning yet.

“We’re still basking in the glow of our very recent engagement and enjoying that,” he admitted. “Right now, we’re just enjoying this experience.”
