'Vampire Diaries' Vote! Who Should Have The Pleasure Of Killing Katherine? My Vote Goes For Elena!

Posted Wed, October 27, 2010 5:13pm EST

The gang launches a full attack on Katherine this week — but who deserves to strike the final blow?

Yes, the moment we’ve been waiting for all season is almost here — Elena (Nina Dobrev) and her merry band of vampires and vampire hunters are finally putting their plan to kill Katherine in motion on the Oct. 28 episode of The Vampire Diaries, titled “Masquerade.” And while I’m not expecting to see the last of Katherine anytime soon (they’d be crazy to cut her now) it’s definitely shaping up to be the most exciting episode of the season. The question is: If Katherine does get staked tomorrow night, which character should have the pleasure of doing it?

Should it be Damon (Ian Somerhalder), who had his heart broken by Katherine on the season premiere? Or Stefan (Paul Wesley), who Katherine has been relentlessly obsessed with since day one?

Personally, I’d love to see Elena do the deed. It would be a great moment for the show, not unlike when Sookie (Anna Paquin) killed Bill’s (Stephen Moyer) maker, Lorena, on True Blood.

I just hope they get the job done before Tyler (Michael Trevino) has a chance to take out poor Matt (Zach Roerig!)

Hopefully no one in the next episodes :S After “Katerina” I have a huuge symphaty for Kat, she really had hard times and I understand her being this bitch. Her father didn’t even allow her to touch her new born daughter >.<
And the scene when she comes home to find all her family dead….heartbreakin.

But I think it might be Klaus killing her. If not him, then Damon. But I reeeaaaally doubt Elena would kill Kat off. I think E just reached a little understandig towards Kat and would be able to kill her. Stefan either, I think he feels to much for her to kill her.

I voted for Damon katherine put Damon through hell and back Damon spend over a decade trying to free katherine but he find out she was never in th tomb and she never loved him like he wanted her to and the reason she back in cause of stefan.Or Bonnie cause katherine the reason why her grams died in the first place. But i’m going for Damon all the way but incase if Damon get the chance and doesnt take it then Bonnie can do it.

Damon, Elena, or Stefan.
I think they both have the strongest reasons to kill her, but Damon should totally kill her, for the getting heart broken.

I’ll go with same as in the books. It was one of the best moments that happened in the book series! But in the TV series, I’ll totally miss Katherine = <3 her!

After being played for 145 years, Damon is the only one that should kill Katherine.

Ahh, message was sent to soon..anyway..

I will be pissed if it’s anybody but Elena, EXCEPT if it’s Damon IF it’s a choose Elena over Katherine situation.

Nobody else deserves the honor.
