Lovers Blair & Chuck Finally Reunite On 'Gossip Girl,' Plus 4 More Of Tonight's 'OMG' Moments!

Posted Mon, September 20, 2010 11:09pm EDT

The Sept. 20 episode of Gossip Girl had more ‘OMG’ moments than I’ve seen in an episode in a long, long time. But what shocked me the most was the much-anticipated reunion between Chuck & Blair!

First, Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) accidentally bump into each other on the streets of Paris, and Blair acts like nothing is happening, demanding her car to continue driving in true Blair fashion. When Serena (Blake Lively) receives word from the Upper Eastside that Chuck was missing all summer and his bloody wallet was found in Paris, she tracks Chuck down — and finds him with a mysterious new blonde girlfriend! Blair learns that Chuck plans to erase his identity, so she runs to the train station to stop him! But what we expected to be a romantic reunion between the two ended with Blair telling Chuck, “I don’t love you anymore.” So why is she still asking him to return to Manhattan for the fall?

Well, that was the moment that shocked me the most. But here are more OMG moments from the Sept 20 episode:

1. Chuck decides to bring his mystery blonde to NYC!

OMG! After the Chuck & Blair reunion, I totally thought the blonde was out of the picture — as did she. Instead, he asks her to join him and go back to the city! When she asks, “Did you buy me a ticket?” he responds,”We don’t need a ticket. I’m Chuck Bass,” as a car pulls up. Glad to see he’s back in action and not disappearing… but it will be interesting to see how Blair handles his new lady next week!

2. Vanessa and Dan reunite!

WHOA! Before Dan’s (Penn Badgley) alleged baby mama Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) came back into his life, he broke things off with BFF — and GF — Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) because he realized he still had feelings for Serena. Now that Vanessa is back from her summer internship in Haiti, their love has been rekindled… with the help of new girl Juliet Sharp (Katie Cassidy.)

3. Serena goes from having two guys — to no guys!

When Serena left the Upper Eastside, she left Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) broken-hearted, but also found herself making out with former boyfriend Dan. Poor Serena, she was expecting to return to Manhattan and have to choose between the two. But they beat her to it, as Dan is with Vanessa, and Nate is pretending to be with Juliet.

4. Blair finally learns truth about the night Chuck was shot!

While Blair is shopping at the Harry Winston store in Paris as a pre-date gift from her fairytale date, Blair chooses a ring she learns belongs to Chuck. Authorities inform her the Russian thieves who shot Chuck were trying to steal the ring from him, but he wouldn’t let go of it! We all know Chuck was going to propose to her on top of the Empire State Building the night he almost died. (And Blair would have LOVED the ring!)

So BFFS, what do you think? What was the biggest ‘OMG’ moment of the Sept. 20 episode for YOU?
