I’d like to begin today’s post by saying this: I love Nina Dobrev. I loved her as pregnant teen/international supermodel Mia Jones on Degrassi, and I love her even more as vampire lover Elena and vampire-with-a-vengeance Katherine, respectively, on The Vampire Diaries. Seriously, half the time Nina‘s on screen I have no idea which of her döpplegangers she’s portraying, and I truly appreciate having my mind blown each and every week. Love Katherine’s cool chic outfit which makes me want to dress like her. Also admire Elena’s casual way with her pure innocent style. As for me, definitely Katherine.

Elena all the way, I like when Elena goes protective for example when they all got dressed up for the 50,60s episode on season 1. It was awesome to see her fight a vampire I would love to see that more, she’s a tough girl.
Katherine…she goes all crazy and we all like that but still Elena rocks, in the book and in the show.

I love both!!! Katherine is such a badass like Damon. They’re the best characters
on the show. But when I have to choose, I would pick Elena, cuz she’s a nice person outwardly, but inside her there is a burning fire that will come out eventually. I wish she were a tad fuller of spirits like in the books. In the books she reminds me kind of Blair from gg
We’ve seen flickers of her dark side in BMR, she has it in her but why is it not being show? The writers should go more into Elena’s character… I mean that would make her more interesting and complex.

I think the writers really should go more into Elena’s character… I mean that would make a big difference.

It’s so hard, I like Elena, but I love Katherine’s badassness. Katherine is a women on a mission and will not let anyone get in the way, I respect that about her. I also love being surprised by everything she has planned.
