Are the two children potty trained yet? They are very smart.

I agree with other comments. I think these new parents are so worried about whether their adopted kids feel loved, they are over compensating by spoiling their children. They are always validating to their children that they love them , which isn’t normal . In fact. I think the kids know they are different because of this over compensating. They need to treat them as normal parents would treat their children. In my opinion, as these kids get older, they will know they are different from other kids, and take advantage of that from these laid back parents. It’s like Jen and bill are afraid to discipline their kids cause their kids were in an orphanage. They need to get over that mentality or their kids, will be spoiled brats as evidenced by Wills behavior especially. They need to stop the over feeding. He is of short stature;at this rate, he will be on that 600 pound show on TLC in 10 years. The pounds will not easily burn off as he gets older so I don’t get how they let that child constantly put unhealthy crap in his mouth (specially since she is a pediatrician ). Goodness gracious. I’m waiting for an episode when these parents actually say no to their kids and stand behind it. It hasn’t happened yet. Very sad.

I wish Jens parents lived in with them. They are really busy and Zoey seems to be in a league of her own. She is a strong minded smart girl but due to her age she wants and needs to be loved up and held the way Will was when they first got him. I absolutely loved how Jens dad included Zoey on the poney buggy ride he made sure of it. And at the hotel where Bills party was held Jens mom held Zoey and you can see how very much she adores her grandparents. I wonder if Zoey would be happier with Jens parents on a full time living arrangement so that Bill and Jen can focus on Will, if you really look at it the three of them act like she is just an add on. Zoey is not really allowed to shine and its sad that she will always be second to Will. At first in India she was a daddies girl idk wjhat happened? Zoey used to peer into her daddys eyes and I thought that was the sweetest most endearing thing, now she barely makes eye contact.

I have to TOTALLY disagree with you. To say that they act as though Zoey “is just an add on” is just crazy. Both Bill and Jen absolutely adore BOTH of their children, I am glad that Jen’s parents (and we see more of Jen’s mom) are close because ALL children benefit from having their grandparents in their lives. I’m not sure why you made the comment about Zoey may be happier with Jen’s parents being there on a full time living arrangement so that Bill and Jen can focus on Will. What an odd comment. Your whole comment sounded sad and just so off. I love watching their show because they obviously are crazy about both of their children and the majority of the show is very positive without so much drama like much of reality shows.

I also find your comments odd. Why would Jen’s parents take and raise Zoey just because Will is getting more attention from them than Zoey is. I think Jen and Bill are doing the best that they can considering the challenges of raising two children with disabilities. I agree that Will needs a good old fashioned swat on the behind for disobeying his parents as much as he does, but for the most part he is acting like a typical four year old. I also think it odd that he is still in diapers and sucks his thumb but once he goes to school, he will catch up with other children his age or he will be made fun of by others. Zoey is also going to mimic her older brother and follow his lead, so some strong discipline will be a necessity in the near future, but Bill and Jen are new parents feeling their way. I think they will be just fine, but yes, the discipline needs to be there for them before they are turned into spoiled, misbehaved children.

When will we see discipline and structure for Will? Jen and Bill I know you guys are so amazing because your parents disciplined, loved and kept real structure. I am not seeing any improvement with him and I wonder if he still hits his mommy?

Time outs are geared around the child’s age. He got a 3 minute time out because that is appropriate for his age. Their attention spans are short and given a longer time out allows him to forget why he’s put in time out in the first place. Any longer, now you have a child that will combust if you don’t end his punishment.

He did NOT do the three minutes as far as that goes, he barely did one! This kid is spoiled rotten and, he has NO discipline at ALL! In the let Will eat cake episode, the greedy thing threw a fit, because there was no cake. Jen told him, you are going to get a time out and, he just shook his head NO.

TIME OUT, IS NOTHING BUT A JOKE, TO THIS BOY!

She can’t bear to discipline either one of them. She never sticks to her word or insists that her children do so as well. They are both over-compensating for the empathy they feel for the kids’ having lived in orphanages, so the Klein parents just can’t bring themselves to bring their children any more pain or unpleasantness. They’re really going to begin regretting this as a Will gets stronger and heavier.

DO YOU? Nobody said a thing about spanking but, a swat on Wills behind, would work better, than that JOKE of a time out. This boy, rules his parents and, the household! Bill talks about, how Will cried when they first met him, comparing it to, when they met Zoey. AT LEAST, ZOEY DIDN’T TRY TO HIT JEN! He also, hit at Bill when he wanted to be pushed around in the stroller.

They better take those two kids, will in particular, in hand. She constantly makes excuses for his naughty behavior and ignores his smart mouth. He is now 4 years old. It’s time for some respect to be taught. He definitely runs the show and it’s not cute. He’s a brat.

i would pop his pamper good. he is a really big boy. i swear i believe he is looking at jen and bill as equals even playmates. he has zero respect for authority. he beat the crap out of the congressmans desk and knew it was wrong, neither parent stopped him so the congressman had to keep the brat from destroying property. school teachers and other kids will not tolerate him. it is getting worse.

For God sakes why is it bordering you if they are spoiled. So what!! this are kids they like to be spoiled if you were in his place wouldn’t you be happy too.So don’t complain too much! Leave them alone this is there life and bless them more. Such a wonderful little family. Those kids deserve everything like any other kids even they have a bit more then others bit not everyone is perfect. Be happy for them! and they are still young let them be happy and let them live there life’s. So don’t complain about them or don’t watch the show!

I like the show and the kids are cute BUT, Will is spoiled he doesn,t want to share with other kids we saw that on his birthday at the park, he is still in diapers and he is 4 years old, teachers won,t be changing his diapers when he goes to school this fall, his speech is slowly getting better but he needs to intergrate with other kids he,ll talk a lost faster being with kids, they never have visitors and the kids are always aroung their parents, and this constantly Will Kiss is ridiculous, he is a smart kid but treat him normal they are normal except for their height, parents, don,t constantly want their kids to be kissing them, the kids have totally bonded with jen and bill so let the kids venture now, treat them like kids if they fall sure they will cry but all kids do, if my son had slapped me as will did jen he should have been disciplined, don,t laugh and think the things he does wrong is funny they laugh at his and think its cute, jean and Bill when these kids get older are going to have problems, jen amids she has a problem with will when he has trantrums, we know what we would have done years ago, jen and bill should be the ones to go to parenting, these kids are not toys, and they can,t always have their own way because jen and Bill are exstatic about having them, this boy will pay the price when he gets to school other kids won,t put up with his temper and tantrums

I agree 100% what You Jane wrote. I was stunned that Will slapped his mother and she did not disciplined him. In real world these kids may have big problems with bulling because they would be an easy target. I must say that at the beginning I did not like Will’s selfish action. It is not good to isolate them from the real world. I started to like Will when he reacted to welcome Zoey (?). I have one question? Why people in India watching small couple every way they would go? But I love watching Jane and Bill with their kids. I wish them all the best.

Well actually, she did give him a time out for hitting her BUT it was ineffective because she did it incorrectly and here is why. For a time out to be effective, the parent has to totally ignore the child during his/her time out. Jen was constantly with Will and constantly talked to him and consoling him. This was not punishment; it was attention and kids like a lot of attention, even negative attention. He was three years old so the time out should have been three minutes but was barely one. Ineffective. That being said, I think we all have to remember that Jen and Bill are new parents and these children are not babies so they have not had the luxury of growing along with the kids.

They need to be intergrated with other kids and disciplined properly, they think every thing that will does is cute even when bill took the egg holder off him he gave in to the kid and laughed at him while he pouted, then he gave it back to him, send the kid to his room
they

y will pay the price when will gets bigger and older, and for goodness sake get these two kids potty trained are they always going to have the diaper bag with them, they won, t be going to school in the fall with diapers I, d like to see how they carry on when the camera, s aren, t on they are only showing us the parts that can be televised, why don, t they let them have other kids to the house

Well, I would rather put up with Zoey than to have to deal, with a spoiled four year old, who is still in diapers and, sucks his thumb. Instead of time out, Will needs a spanking on that fat butt of his. And, for them to have a changing table and, diaper genie in his room, is ridiculous! No wonder Bill’s back bothers him . I wouldn’t be lifting his fat @$$, up on to a changing table.

He weighed I think 32 or 33 pounds in China, can you guys imagine, how much he weighs now?

That silly time out, was a total JOKE AND, WILL TOOK EVERY ADVANTAGE OF IT! This kid, needs a good old fashioned sting on his @$$ and, not time out. In the let Will eat cake episode, Jen tells him, you’re going to get a time out and, this spoiled brat, had the audacity to shake his head and say NO! Whats even worse, Bill NEVER said a thing to him, to let him know, that his type of behavior would NOT, BE TOLERATED. HE JUST SAT THERE, AND ALLOWED THAT’S MY SON, TO GIVE JEN, A HARD TIME.

I READ A COMMENT, SOME WHERE AND THE PERSON WHO MADE IT, SAID THAT WILL HAS REGRESSED, SINCE COMING HERE FROM CHINA AND, HE HAS!!!!!!!!!!!

You’re spot on in your entire comment and, they need to “STOP” with the, like every three/four year old, when he does things that are bad. I have been around lots of kids his age and, NO MAM, THEY DO NOT ACT LIKE THIS KID. HE SHOWED HIS TAIL WITH JEN, AT THE PETS DAY EPISODE BECAUSE, SHE WOULDN’T LET HIM GO INTO A PARKING DECK. this was one of the times when BILL said he was testing the boundries with them and, this is when Jen says, LIKE EVERY THREE YEAR OLD. My son didn’t act like that at three or four years old. And he certainly wasn’t rewarded, for his bad behavior. They started this giving him snacks of sweets, right after he was weighed at his medical check. But, in the mean time, Jen is talking about them having to modify his diet, and before she could get the words out good, Bill gives him a storage bag of cookies. Not to mention the ones, that they bought while in the park.

I read a comment, where someone wrote that, they didn’t know how they put up with Zoey. Me myself would rather put up with Zoey, before I would tolerate Will and, his tantrums. Bill is the one, who has spoiled this boy. He also pay more attention to Will, than he does to Zoey. That’s not right. I didn’t know, that Jen credits Will with her wanting to get well. What about Zoey?

True that Guest Jane and, not only do the parents think, that everything he does is cute or funny. So does the Will is cute fan club. When I saw him hit Jen, as well as walk away, as soon as she sat down, when he was suppose to be in time out, that did it for me. Oh, but he “LOVES” to hit and, he’ll bite as well. He tried to bite Zoey and, had Bill not been there and told him, WE DON’T BITE, he would have bit her.

As for him wearing diapers at his age, If I was a teacher, I would NOT be changing him or any other four year old! He likes to sit next to Zoey at meal time, SO HE CAN TAKE, FOOD OFF OF HER PLATE. HE’S NOT FIXATED ON FOOD, HE’S JUST GREEDY. @ Lynn, you don’t have to read my comments because, I’m telling the truth and besides, I’m entitled to my opinion just like you are. If Will is bad, he’s just bad!

Watch him throw a fit, over seeing a ice cream truck. He should have been loaded back in the car, and taken back home, instead of being bribed, into taking a picture with Zoey. Bribing this four year old all the time, IS NOT GOOD PARENTING!
