The bronzed pair were sighted out having an intimate dinner for two at the W Hotel in Barcelona , last week, according to the New York Post. “There was just the two of them at the table together. They were whispering and all smiles, ” an eyewitness reported. ” It definitely looked like they are more than just friends. They were there for a few days shooting.” In fact, they were shooting the Gypsy video.
The pair – who each have significant others- first set tongues wagging when Shakira, 33, surprising turned up in stands in Abu Dhabi, this past Dec, to watch Rafael ,23, – the four times French Open champ- defeat Nikolay Davydenko. She has called Nadal ” an animal on court” in an interview. Furthermore, she also watched him play almost a year ago in the Miami Masters Series. The New York Post also reported thst the pair were flirting at Nobu restaurant in Tribeca, NYC, while Shakira was promoting her She- Wolf album.
The big question is: is the heat between the pair enough to convince cougar Shakira to leave her her fiance of nine years, Antonio De La Rua and for Rafael to split from his girlfriend of four years, Maria “Xisca” Francisca Perello.
