The crop top ruled the red carpet at the KCAs — find out how you can work the trend & SHOP my picks!
From Selena Gomez to Katy Perry, the stars at the Kids' Choice Awards were all about showing some skin in the hot new trend. While not everyone wants to flaunt their midriff in a crop top, it totally can be done! For starters, you don't need to rock such a small top — with crop tops in a slew of shapes and sizes you can easily find one in your comfort zone. I love the way pairing a crop top with a high-waisted skirt looks — you can still show some skin without feeling self-conscious if you don't have a six pack. This look also enhances the waist. If you rather keep it more casual, a mildly cropped sweater with jeans or shorts will give you that subtle hint. Check out my picks if you want to try the trend!

The small space is perfect for dinner with girlfriends or a date night — get ready to indulge in delicious cocktails and delectable bites!
Located in the trendy Meatpacking District, The Vinatta Project's cozy atmosphere, spaced-out tables and attentive service definitely sets it apart in a sea of hotspots, while it's vintage vibe and gorgeous decor definitely impress. The comfortable yet trendy space is not to be missed.
While usually I would recommend locations like this to a big group, since the space is cozy and the tables are spaced out you can definitely turn up on a date night and have a great time without feeling cramped.
The bespoke cocktails, made by master mixologists, are a fun way to start off the night — and are also a great talking point if you're a bit nervous on a first date. If you're with girlfriends, I recommend experimenting and trying a few drinks throughout the course of your night. The mixologists were spot on with their recommendations in my experience.
The mac-and-cheese combo, sliders, parmesan truffle fries and wild mushroom risotto balls are among my personal favorites.
The American, contemporary menu designed by executive chef Michael 'Kiwi' Camplin features an array of signature dishes. Your best bet is to order a bunch of plates and share with the table — that way everyone gets to try the dishes and experiences the variety on the menu!
Given the trendy vibe and the cozy atmosphere, the location is also popular with a slew of a-listers, so keep your eyes out for some of your fave celebs — you never know who might be at the next table!
