As soon as Robsten arrived at the Isle of Wight to ring in 2011, the adorable couple stopped to get their Kung Pao on!
It’s been reported over the past two years that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are looking to buy a home in the Isle of Wight, and we can understand why — the low key island is a perfect fit for the quiet couple! HollywoodLife.com can confirm that Rob, 24, and Kristen, 20, arrived at the South East England island around 8:15pm on Dec. 30, and took a standard Hovertravel Ferry to get there. A source reveals that Rob and Kristen took the “last service craft” to the Isle of Wight that evening, from South Sea Portsmouth, a seaside resort in the county of Hampshire in England, about a 10 minute ride across the Solent, a strait which separates the Isle of Wight from England, in order to get there in time to celebrate New Year’s Eve the next evening — and grab some Chinese food!
As soon as Rob and Kristen got off the ferry, the Breaking Dawn couple ran across the footbridge and into Hong Kong Express, a local Chinese restaurant located on the Esplanade. The dressed-down couple didn’t get special treatment while on the ferry and our source says they each paid the “full price” of 8.5 £ — roughly $14!
We told you Rob and Kristen had dinner on New Year’s Eve Dec. 31 with about 20 friends, at the Spyglass Inn in Ventnor, a seaside resort town located on the south coast of the Isle of Wight, and they went back again to eat on New Year’s Day! Even though they were swarmed by 300 fans while eating at the Sea Breeze Cafe in East Cowes, a seaport town in the Isle of Wight, and Rob had to go outside and regulate, it seems like they are pretty happy there!
