"Last time you were here you were homeless," Jimmy Kimmel said during a recent interview, to which Rob replied, "I still am. No, I rented this archway and I just live behind it. In one of those trash cans." (FameFlynet)
When Jon Stewart spoke about the break-up, he said, "When you're young, it feels like the world is ending. This is the first time the world has reacted the same way." In reply to the "world is ending" comment, Rob laughed and said, "It is." (SplashNews)
"Everybody just wants to know, how are you doing and what do you want your fans to know about your personal life?," George Stephanopoulos asked. A nervous, coffee-sipping Rob replied, "I'd like my fans to know Cinnamon Toast only has 30 calories for instance... I've never been interested in selling my personal life, and that's really the only reason people bring it up." (Courtesy of Comedy Central)
In a new interview with TIME Magazine, Rob, 26, was asked about what it's like to have millions of fans worry about him. He replied, "I guess if people think they're worried about you, it's sweet. It's kind of odd." (SplashNews)
Although Rob and director David Cronenberg were on the panel to promote their movie Cosmopolis, the moderator steered off course. He compared R-Patz and K-Stew to Prince Charles and Diana, and the audience did not appreciate it. "So if you and Kristen have trouble it's like Charles and Di having trouble?" Carr asked. The audience started booing and Rob squirmed in his seat. A member of the audience yelled out, "Next question!" "I think it's because America really wants to have a royal family," Rob admitted. "They want to pick their king and queen." He also pointed out that America's royalty are Hollywood stars and that they are very similar to real royalty. But, Rob made sure to add, "I wouldn't go that far." (SplashNews)
Josh Horowitz started an MTV FIRST interview with Rob by saying, "This is not going to be Dr. Phil or Oprah, so if u tuned in for that, keep moving." Rob simply laughed off the comment, but added, "you want tears, you gotta give me the big bucks!" (Courtesy of ABC)
During the 30-minute interview, Josh asked Rob how he manages to cry so quickly in scenes and if there's any inspiration for that. (Of course, our thoughts went to his breakup with Kristen Stewart!) Rob said, "I'm just a p-sy." (FameFlynet)
If Rob were as fortunate, monetarily speaking, as his Cosmopolis character, the actor would "hoard" his money. Of course, Rob was only joking when he gave this response to Josh. In all seriousness, Rob said he would donate the money because "money can turn people into a-holes." (FameFlynet)
