Rihanna Reveals ‘The Truth’ Behind Chris Brown Love

The nature and status Rihanna and Chris Brown‘s relationship is often kept under wraps by the famous twosome, so when one of them actually opens up about it during an interview, it’s quite a big deal! In a new interview with Complex magazine, not only did Rihanna look incredible on an astounding seven covers, she also spoke candidly about “the truth” behind her relationship!
When Rihanna, 24, was asked about whether “Nobody’s Business,” her duet with Chris, 23, is about their relationship status, she first tried to shut the conversation down. “It’s nobody’s business,” RiRi said “flatly.” Before ending the conversation for good, the reporter tested their luck, asking why she and Chris would record a song about their relationship if it is, in fact, no one’s business.
Rihanna Plays Coy
“Pardon me?” she replied. After the question was repeated, she answered, “It’s the truth. Remember?” As she got up to leave, she added, “It’s a fun record that The-Dream wrote and we loved the lyrics. You’re still asking me questions about it so clearly you don’t know.” Meow!
While Rihanna may still try to shut down official conversations about her relationship with Chris, a source close to the pop star spoke with HollywoodLife.com, revealing that the two “are tight.”
There’s No Trouble Between Rihanna & Chris Brown
“She’s not with any other dude,” our insider told us. “She and Chris are tight, but [sometimes] a girl just need a little breathing space.” Though Rihanna’s been spotted out at club alone lately, the friend insists it doesn’t have anything to do with her standing with Chris.
“She’s just stepping out on her own for a minute, feeling herself and riding solo,” our source said.
