Princess Eugenie Vs. Princess Beatrice: Who Donned Their Royal Hat Best?

The two daughters of the Prince Andrew, Duke of York, who are the fifth and sixth in the line of succession to the throne, showed up to the big day with big hats in tow!

Princess Eugenie of York, 22, and Princess Beatrice, 21, arrived at the royal affair in matching beige shoes and bags while Beatrice wore a bright blue printed long sleeve top and full skirt and her sister continued in the biege color palette with a fringed dress and detailed overcoat. But the most exciting part of both girl’s looks were the outrageous hats!

The elder sister’s was appropriately matching with a blue headpiece, accented with purple flowers, and a large white feather that sat on the top of her head. The younger sister’s beige head piece sat in the front of her head and was more of a small structure than a hat. Don’t you love the British and their crazy hats!

Was I the only one in the entire world that actually like Beatrice’s hat? Honestly, I did. Although it was a little much for a royal wedding, I still liked it. I like Eugenie’s skirt though. by the way, isn’t Beatrice the older one (22) and Eugenie 21?

You have got to be joking!! I’m British…and most of the hats the British wear are absolutely rediculous! They look like clowns from a circus. Only a few ppl can get away with wearing hats and it suits them. As to the two Princesses….they looked aweful!! who on earth dresses them? They are following in their mothers footsteps for big fashion mistakes. Those hats!!! ….oh my gosh, what an embarressment! loved their shoes but those hats…YIKES!! one of them looks like an alien from Star Trek…..absolutelu UGLY!!

Summer- don’t be a tedious bore. If everyone followed conservative “fashion advice” what a dull, dull world it would be. Fashion is subjective. I think they looked remarkable at the wedding. And much more remarkable looking than the stickly plain jane Middleton’s.

Yes and how cool! First of all they are not “ugly”- they are attractive but in an unconventional way. Good for them! I love how people get so outraged when people step outside the tedious “norm”.

Beatrice was born 8 August 1988; Eugenie was born 23 March 1990. Don’t you check your facts: The older sister was wearing a giant pretzel on her head and & the younger a circus horse’s cast off. The coatdress was successful; the blue outfit belonged on a superannuated barmaid.

Their fashion adviser should be shot for treason.

Both young women looked totally atrocious in their respective head dresses. Eugenie looks like something is going to lay an egg and Beatrices’ bow thing is completely obnoxious. These girls are due for a spot on What NOT To Wear.

Quite honestly, Beatrice looked HORRIBLE. It looked like she had a donut with a ribbon on it on her head! It was quite ridiculous, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets more attention for what she wore than Kate did!!! How rude to wear something that stands out so much when it’s supposed to be the BRIDE’S day. You should have thought a little, Beatrice.

Eugenie looks much better, although her hat is a little strange, but we’ll cut her some slack on that one.

All the English wear eccentric hats and I didn’t think this was much different.

Kate wore a boring dress- she is a dull girl. She can’t help it. Anyone at the wedding easily upstaged her.
