This is exactly why you need to look at photos of her not on the AR set, and taken recently. She looks a bit gaunt if anything. This was just makeup and prosthetics, the director said as much. This was Lindsay, the character, not Portia, the actress. Per the director, the joke was supposed to be Lindsay being vain, etc. It backfired on Portia. a very lovely woman who, if you look at real photos taken recently, clearly hasn’t had anything major done.

No. Not plastic surgery, which is permanent. For her role on the 4th season of Arrested Develeopment, in which the previous seasons, her character had many references to plastic surgery and vanity, they may have had a makeup artist concoct a new nose for her and with the skin glue they use, they can make her undereyes look taught, temporarily. She may have had botox and an above lip filler, while filming to give her the look of having undergone something, but fillers wear off before a year and botox in 4-6 months, so once filming was complete, she could go back to her own beautiful self. Search the web for the interview she did on May 23, 2013, for her LA Confidential cover shoot. You can see a video of her, rather than a photo, and you will see she looks the same as she did before. Pure genius, as Arrested Development always was above the audience. They knew people would talk, and they are smart not to say anything. After all, that would ruin the “illusion”, as G.O.B. would say, and people would stop talking about it = bad for publicity. Better to having you gossiping than to forget about it.

“It’s so obvious! She had a browlift! and maybe a rhino.”
And a Chen-suck, and Botox, and…
Why on earth would she have changed anything?!

@Roaster I do not see where she looked as she did before. Doesn’t look the same but looks alot like she went to a popular plastic surgeon since her face now looks like all the rest. Alot of Blondes in Zombiewood have that exact look. She lost her individuallity and her own beauty but trying to erases the years.

I don’t think she had all that much done. The only scenes where she looked odd were where they had the long blonde wig. She looked normal in other scenes with the red wig and her short hair. The thing is she is a really good actress, and a lovely person, and a beauty regardless of anything else.
