Patrick is now the 10th winner of the ‘Biggest Loser’ franchise, and he plans to use his grand prize to start a scholarship fund for overweight teens!

Congratulations Patrick House! The 28-year-old former football player and dad-of-two, won season ten of NBC’s Biggest Loser Dec. 14, and says he “cannot be more happy!”

Patrick, 6’2″ and weighing a staggering 400 lbs. when he first joined the Biggest Loser cast, dropped a remarkable 181lbs! Patrick spent the past six months on the show working with show trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper on a rigorous diet and fitness routine. If you haven’t seen the gripping reality show, Patrick lost weight by doing everything from extensive backpacking hikes with the cast, hours in the Biggest Loser gym, and even lifting massive cement piping.

“The confetti moment was exactly what I wanted,” Patrick exclaimed to People magazine after the live show. “From day one, I saw the confetti coming, and being on that scale and seeing the confetti coming down on me, what a moment! I cannon be more happy!”

Even more endearing is Patrick’s plan on how to use his $250,000 grand prize? He’s going to start the Patrick House Foundation, in order to send overweight teens to MindStream Academy, a weight-loss boarding school in Bluffton, S.C.:”I plan on making a difference in the world, one child at a time.”

Are you happy that Patrick won Biggest Loser?
