Nick Fradiani is an American singer from Guilford, Connecticut. He rose to fame when he auditioned for ‘American Idol’ in New York City and got that magical golden ticket. The song that earned him the ticket was Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes.” Then, before he knew it, he made it to the finals and became the winner of the show’s 14th season! The song that led him to victory was “Beautiful Life” (the FIFA 2015 Women’s World Cup official anthem).
Before ‘American Idol’ Fradiani already had quite the following, as he was the lead singer of pop/rock band Beach Avenue, which was based in Milford, Connecticut. The band included four other members: Nick Abraham (lead guitar, mandoline, backing vocals), Nick Fradiani, III (keyboards and backing vocals), Jonah Ferrigno (bass), and Ryan Zipp (drums). The band indeed gained many fans when it won Battle of the Bands at Mohegan Sun in 2011.
