Michelle Obama and the Girls Dream of a White (House) Christmas

The Obamas have already started celebrating the season at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with a gigantic tree! (Just don’t tell Cranky Ol’ Mr. Gore!)

First Lady Michelle Obama is officially ready for the holidays. On Nov. 26, the official presidential Christmas tree arrived at the White House in Washington, D.C. drawn by horse and carriage and Michelle, 46, was right there waiting to inspect it with her daughters Malia, 12 and Sasha, 9.

In case you were wondering, the White House Tannenbaum is a Douglas fir from Lehighton, Pa.

Looks like the tree met the First Lady’s approval as she and the girls were all smiles. Now it’s time for the First Family to decorate the tree with lights and ornaments!
