Kristin Says – Check Out The Best And Worst Red Carpet Beauty From Last Night’s CMA Awards!

Taylor! Carrie! Leighton! Who was hot – and not so hot – on the CMA Awards Red Carpet? Read on!

Last night’s CMA Awards saw some of the finest in country music and Hollywood show off some spectacular red carpet beauty looks! Who rocked the best hair and makeup and who needed more time with their glam squad? Here are my picks…

Best: Laura Bell Bundy looked so pretty! Love the tousled curls, the pretty metallic eyeshadow and that gorgeous red lip is sheer perfection!

Worst: Katherine Heigl’s hair is way too stiff and looks really “frosted” – the blonde is a little TOO blonde and there’s a lot of shine in her makeup – and not in a good way.

Best: Miranda Lambert just looked so soft and lovely. Love the curled side ponytail, the sultry eye makeup and bright pink lipstick.

Worst: I normally love Leighton Meester but I’m not sure what’s happening here. She looks really washed out and tired. Not a good look.

Worst: Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland has A LOT going on! The spray tan is really fighting with that frosted eyeshadow and bright pink blush.

Best: Gwyneth Paltrow looked AMAZING: perfect glowing skin, great lashes and lined eyes and a perfectly pink lip. Love the straight sideswept hair. This look’s a winner for the actress.

Worst: Kellie Pickler’s hair is way too stiff.  What’s worse is that you can actually see the layers of powder, foundation and blush on top of her skin. She’s wearing way too much makeup.

Worst: LeAnn Rimes’ face is too angular to wear such a stiff, rounded updo.  A softer updo with some light texture (maybe some curls) would have looked really pretty. Also, the pink lipgloss doesn’t work.  A bronze-nude gloss would have softened her face nicely.

Best: Taylor Swift, looked very pretty with her sideswept bangs, defined eye makeup and a suprisingly nude lip (the singer’s been rocking red lipstick for a while now.) I like this red carpet makeup look on the star!

Best: Carrie Underwood rocked another winning look with curled layers, a defined smoky eye (love the dusky grey and purple shadows) and a great nudish-pink lip. This is my favorite look of the night.
