Colin Firth & More Celebs Step Out For The NYC Premiere Of 'The King's Speech!'

The film hits theaters the day after Thanksgiving — and we can tell you it’s a total must see!

Colin Firth was reborn as King George VI on Nov. 26 at the NYC premiere of The Kings Speech, and was on the scene! Not only has the film won the 2010 TIFF People’s Choice Award, but Colin is also getting tons of Oscar buzz! Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Queen Elizabeth in the film, looked radiant as she walked the carpet alongside Colin! Interesting fact: King George VI had a difficult time carrying on his knightly duties because of his stutter, which the always lovable Colin does a great job of portraying!

Following the premiere, guests attended the after party at NYC’s Forty Four at the Royalton Hotel. Guests included Moby, Katrina Bowden and Elizabeth Banks, who spent the night sipping on DeLeón Tequila cocktails, the main sponsor of the night! You should definitely see the film — you don’t want to be left in the dark come Oscar season!
