Kim, you have the right to look as you choose. They could have place some artificial skin to hide the skin cuts from your wrinkled skin cut out. That made you look like a fish face but for that you looked pretty damn good! People act they will never age, they have a surprise coming! Your arms look better than Madonna! Stay healthy, is most important!

Your are most astute, Jeanette. She does not look 21 but not 81 as well. She is such a nice person. I’m sure she appreciates our support!

Loved her then and love her now. It is very hard for beautiful women to age, and BTW I know several men having trouble with it too…

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Kim looks great to me. What are all of you NASTIES looking for in an 81 y/o woman? Anyway, ya’ll are most likely a bunch of DOGS!

How awful for people to ‘ slag off ‘ the wonderful
Lady, Kim Novak. Being of a certain age, I remember
Her movies, and loved them all!!
We will ALL BECOME OLD!! How we handle that,
May God Bless and keep you safe Kim.

I think for 81 she looks darn good. Was always a fan of hers way back then. Only thing I will say is that would have looked better if it were not for the long creases on each side of her lips. Out side of that she is still in mind a beautiful woman

You can still have confidence and get surgery…it’s not for everyone, but the pressure to look young and beautiful EVERYWHERE (especially in the film business) is consuming. Plastic surgery is something you might ponder for years, then maybe you go for it, and maybe wish you hadn’t. Whether she had plastic surgery or not, she’s still in the game and not giving up. Good for her. And seriously, she’s 81, it’s probably as good of a job as can be expected at that age.

Yes, she’s 81, you would think by that age you would be celebrating your life, and have the confidence to age graciously, not trying to mask it . It’s tragic, sad, and somewhat pitiful, that such an accomplished and revered person would succumb to the Hollywood/plastic surgeon concept of beauty. I thought she had been in a bad car accident, and was absolutely shocked to learn that she actually paid someone to make her look like this! Ladies of Hollywood – GET OVER IT and MOVE ON! From Joan Rivers to Kim Novak and all the Botoked, facelifted, lip-injected women of Hollywood, here’s the truth that your friends won’t tell you – you look un-natural and grotesque!

Well, you speak bravely. However, you were not revered for your looks all your life and YOUR career was not tied to “aging gracefully”. Their careers were tied to looking young, vibrant etc. It is not an easy milieu to be inside, to earn your money with that huge harness to your looks. I didn’t experience it, but I can understand why women in particular and in the Hollywood areas have gone for plastic surgery. Having not had to live through the stresses of Hollywood I have to make a decision with the same amount up for grabs. It is easy to couch surf and put these women down, but having not lived their lives and experienced their pressures, I don’t see how anyone can judge them. I think naysayers should GET OVER IT and MOVE ON as it is not any of your business. Ms Novak…… your career and your accomplishments are astounding.
