Did you ever expect to see these lovely ladies in big bonnets? It may not have been a Halloween party, but that didn’t stop the hot Hollywood attendees from breaking out their best southern style for the 136th Kentucky Derby on May 1, where the celeb set, (which included Vanessa Milano, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Marisa Miller, Dina Manzo, Rebecca Romijn, and Diane Lane) opted for fun frocks and beautiful bonnets! While some of the gals looked great, (Marisa was by far my fave!), others, (like Diane Lane), looked more silly than chic. What do you think? Who had the best style on Derby day?

okay, i can hold my tongue no longer on this pic of ashlee and pete. he is the biggest WIENER of all time! what is he doing in that outfit? if that outfit made sense anywhere, and this is a huge stretch, it would be at a golf tournament- not a horse race. ashlee, i want to love her, but, having that idiot on her arm just makes it so difficult. i think she’s gorgeous, though i liked her better pre-surgery, but next to him they always look like assholes. why the costumes?! so annoying, those two… she has horrid taste in men. when she had her show (i know, i know) wasn’t she with that fool ryan cabrera? ashlee… stop thinking you’re a second class citizen, and start choosing better men! the only explanation is her complex of being the “ugly” sister when standing next to her sister. i just don’t get it. pete… ugh. on a more positive note, vanessa can’t hold a candle to jess, but that hat is FANTASTIC!
