Kate Middleton Bargain Hunts And Gets Three Dresses For $369: We Love The Penny Pinching Princess!

Kate is going to become a princess in just eight days but she hasn’t let her royal future go to her head — and her thrifty shopping choices prove it!

Kate Middleton was spotted at Warehouse in London this week, a moderately priced boutique on King’s Road in Chelsea, and for someone who one day could be queen this seemed to be a bit shocking — but charming!

Kate, accompanied by only one bodyguard, remained very low key during her 30-minute shopping trip on April 19, picking up $369 worth of apparel, including three summer dresses, and blouse!

We think it’s pretty great that a woman who could someday be queen is no diva, and always down for a good bargain. Her most expensive purchase was a tropical print dress for $105, accompanied by two other dresses, a one shoulder feather print dress for $72 and and a bright floral bandeau dress for $97. A store spokesman gushed to “It was very exciting, and everyone said how lovely and down-to-earth she was.”

Kate’s choice of clothing also seems to indicate that a warmer destination for her honeymoon with Prince William might be their final choice.

The big question remains: Where will they be going? Tell us where you think they will be going, Hollywoodlifers!

I must be out of touch. $100 per dress is NOT bargain shoppping. That is the price tag of a very nice dress. Bargain shopping is looking for a dress in the $20-$30 range. This must be why the wealthy seem to always look great in their clothing with no gaps, bunched up zippers, crooked hems or the clingy thin material that shows every line, bump or buldge. Celebrities or famous people are not better looking, they can just afford the stuff to make them look better!!! I so wish media and politicians would get in touch with reality of what it is really like for the average person trying to makes ends meet and we really do know what BARGAIN SHOPPING is.

That may be true, but you can’t honestly be saying that if you had her kind of money you’d still be pulling a $20 dress out of a bargain bin. Let’s not forget that this girl had money even before she married into royalty. The fact that she shops at mainstream stores and doesn’t spend $400 on a single pair of jeans like most celebs says something about her.

You gotta remember this is England and not the U.S. Things are more expensive over there than here, and it just *may* be a bargain over there.
