Were Kate Middleton & Prince William Inspired By A Fairytale Wedding?

Posted Thu, May 12, 2011 4:25pm EDT

The Royal Wedding certainly was like a fairytale — and it looks like Kate was inspired by a princess of the past!

Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, wasn’t wearing glass slippers when she walked down the aisle, but she still looked strikingly similar to Cinderella — she even had her very own Prince! The similarities between Cinderella and the Royal Wedding didn’t stop there either.

When William’s cousins, Beatrice and Eugenie, stepped out together they looked super similar to Cinderella’s stepsisters! If you’re looking at these photos and something seems to be off, you’re right! While certain colors have been altered, the similarities are still worth pointing out! Don’t you agree?

What complete nonsense. Naturally if you take the original Disney stills and change the colors of clothes and hair to match the actual participants it looks similar! Congratulations… You found a bride in white and a prince wearing a sash. And you found two women in hats together. What were the odds? By the way, I don’t think Disney takes kindly to people altering their copyrighted works and posting them publicly on commercial sites.
