After designer John Galliano was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 24 for making anti-Semetic comments, Christian Dior released a statement today saying to WWD saying, “In a brief statement, Dior president and chief executive officer Sidney Toledano said the fashion house has a policy of zero tolerance regarding racism and anti-Semitism. The statement said the suspension would remain in force until the results of a police investigation.”
On Thursday night Galliano, who helms Christian Dior’s house, was arrested for making anti-Semitic comments and alleged assault in Paris at a cafe in the Marais district, where Galliano began yelling at a couple.
