Jessica Simpson Is Coming Out With A Tween Line With Help From Her Sister, Ashlee!

Now younger girls can enjoy the stylish and affordable clothing too!

The ever-growing fashion empire known as the Jessica Simpson Collection is branching into tween clothing with the help of Jessica Simpson‘s sister, Ashlee — and it’ll be available just in time for holiday shopping!

Marking the first fashion collaboration between the sisters, both Ash and Jess will serve as co-creative directors for the line, which is set to hit stores in October. The collection, geared to girls in the 7-16 size range, will feature sportswear, activewear, jeans, outerwear, and even shoes. The goal of the tween line is to cater to the key styles of that age range while still incorporating Jess’ girly, playful style that’s evident in practically every element of the brand. Expect to see jeans (skinnys, boot cut, flares, and even a variety of colors), knits, hoodies, pullovers, graphic tees, and drawstring pants.

“Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens,” Jessica told WWD.

Ashlee said, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”

With the right price point and an ability to provide trendy yet appropriate clothing, it’s no surprise Jess decided to tap into the tween market. Would you dress your kids in Jessica and Ashlee’s clothes?
