Is it time to offer Jessica Simpson a hefty round of congratulations? The 30-year-old singer might be pregnant!

Jess’ fuller figure -weight loss expert Tanya Zuckerbrot says she’s gained 15 pounds! – was on display when she stepped out at The Sunset Towers in Los Angeles August 25 without new boyfriend Eric Johnson. She and the former football player have been canoodling all over the globe lately, including her hot 30th birthday celebration in Italy – the perfect place for love AND love-making!

We think the 30-year-old Yale alum would make a great daddy! Although he and Jessica have only been dating since May since meeting an LA party, they seem to have fallen in love incredibly quickly! He’s already met her family (they even made out in front of her mom, Tina!) and took her ring shopping in Capri. In fact, his pals say that he’s such an awesome guy that she’s “struck the jackpot.”

Now that we’ve established Eric is perfect papa material, we have to tell you that Jessica has always wanted a family. Seriously, she literally can’t stop talking about it!

“In ten years I would love to be a mom, I would just love to be in love and be a mom,” she told FOXNews.com.

“I can’t wait to have kids. I want to have kids. If I don’t have kids by the time I’m 40, my best friend Ken Paves and I are going to have children!” she said on The View.

“I’m not dating for fun,” she told People magazine. “I want kids someday. I want a family.”

“[Jessica is] always saying, ‘Oh, I want a baby!’ her younger sis Ashlee told Redbook.

If Jessica ISN’T pregnant and has just gained some serious weight lately, she can blame her strange June cleanse that consisted of a vegan diet and a special Pu-erh tea from China. “After the cleanse, any weight that came off is going to come back.
