It might be hard to imagine, but Jersey Shore star J-Woww quit drinking in September – and has lost 20 pounds! The star happily shares all of her weight-loss secrets and fitness tips.
The cast of Jersey Shore definitely isn’t known for their sobriety or healthy habits – a typical night for them includes lots of sugary cocktails and late-night snacking. It’s no surprise that star Jenni ‘J-Woww’ Farley found herself gaining weight after the first two seasons, but in the past few months J-Woww has been committed to losing that extra weight — and 20 pounds later she looks fantastic!
“I can fit into the jeans I wore when I was 21!” The reality star told Life & Style magazine. She added that before she was on the show, she was running over three miles a day and was very health-conscious. J-Woww acknowledged that being on Jersey Shore definitely didn’t help her body.
But this season, J-Woww started changing up her habits. “I drank things that wouldn’t induce a hangover so I could stick with the gym,” she said. “It was hard, but it was worth it.” Once filming was over in September, J-Woww stopped drinking completely, and said, “I want to be on point, and drinking gets in the way.” Who’s the trainer that helped J-Woww get into such great shape? Her new BF, Roger Matthews, a bodybuilder from New Jersey. We know that definitely must have been a huge advantage!
So what are J-Woww’s top weight-loss tips? She says to stop drinking, for one thing. Also important are portion control, eating small meals several times a day, staying hydrated with plenty of water, keeping your kitchen stocked with healthy foods, and making workouts more fun and interesting.
J-Woww also shared a sample of her new diet with Life & Style:
- Breakfast: Egg-white omelet with veggies and one slice wheat toast, coffee.
- Lunch: Salad with grilled chicken, avocado, walnuts and blue cheese.
- Snack: Steamed broccoli with fresh mozzarella or vanilla protein shake with peanut butter and banana.
- Dinner: Nine pieces salmon or tuna sashimi, spicy tuna roll, miso soup.
