Hilary walked down the aisle with hockey player beau Mike Comrie in an intimate ceremony at the former home of Michael Douglas in Montecito!
Hilary Duff is officially off the market! The 22-year-old actress and singer wed her boyfriend of three years, NHL player Mike Comrie, in front of 100 guests on Saturday, Aug. 14. The bride, in Vera Wang of course, was escorted down the aisle by her mother, Susan Duff, while sister Haylie Duff served as maid of honor.
Hilary’s floor length dress appeared to be lace and she wore a full veil and her hair in a bun. Mike wore the traditional tuxedo with his hair slicked back.
Not present it appears was Hilary’s estranged father, Robert Duff, who split with her mother in 2006 following a year long affair with a flight attendant.
Mike could be seen with his arm around his new bride throughout most of the traditional ceremony, which guests said lasted about 20 minutes. The happy couple was snapped boarding a private plane the next morning, en route to their honeymoon, the destination of which is still unknown.
The Montecito estate they were wed at used to be owned by Michael Douglas and is now the property of his ex wife, Diandra Douglas. This is the first wedding for both Hilary and her 29-year-old beau, who formerly played for the Edmonton Oilers.
Hilary is the second starlet to marry a hockey player this year, with singer Carrie Underwood wedding Mike Fisher last month in Georgia.
The couple met in 2007 on a trip to Idaho and were engaged this February in Hawaii.
