The star-studded show officially kicked off New York Fashion Week — and Natasha Bedingfield performed! Get all the details here & VOTE for which frock was your fave.
Some of our favorite a-lister’s helped kick off New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center on Feb. 9 with the highly anticipated Heart Truth Red Dress Show — and the gals didn’t only look good, but they turned up to help raise awareness for heart disease. Luckily HollywoodLife.com was on the carpet and at the show to bring you everything you need to know!
While there were too many celebs to count on the runway, the front show was just as crowded. From Matthew McConaughey, who turned up to support Camila Alves, to Susan Sarandon, Kat DeLuna, Johnny Weir, and Housewive’s Countess Luann deLesseps, and Sonja Morgan, it was a great way to kick off the week!
Cat Deely was among one of the glam gals to walk in the show, who told us she was most excited for the performance! “I’m excited to see Natasha perform this evening, because we’re very good friends, and we’ve worked together many times before, but I haven’t seen her perform in so long, so I can’t wait to see her,” she told us on the red carpet.
The show opened with Julianne Hough, who looked like she was having a blast working the runway in a Swarovski number — but she wasn’t the only one who had fun coming down the runway! Giuliana Rancic came dancing out, wearing Notte by Marchesa, and even managed to blow a kiss to her hubby — but Patti LaBelle was definitely the most sassy on the runway, in Zang Toi, she came out dancing (and even singing!). Gayle King showed off her curvaceous figure in Donna Karan, while Eva Amurri looked just like a model in a gorgeous Chris Benz dress. One of my personal highlights of the evening was seeing Dita Von Teese. Her red Zac Posen gown accentuated her teeny tiny waist — it was remarkable to see in person!
After the show we got the chance to chat with Entourage star Dania Ramirez, who told us she planned on walking last year — but unfortunately her plans were derailed! “I tried to come out last year but there was a snow storm and I couldn’t get in for this show! It’s awesome that I got to come this year,” she said.
