Has Gwyneth Paltrow Replaced Sex With Food?

After a year spent mostly apart from hubby Chris, and with rumors he shared a lip lock with actress Kate Bosworth, Gwyneth seems to have immersed herself in the food scene!

Gwyneth Paltrow gives a revealing interview in the August issue of Vogue, but not about rocker husband Chris Martin — about food! The Oscar winning actress sits down to discuss her upcoming cookbook and indulges in chicken, pizza, and other non leaf based foods. Which begs the question, has Gwyn replaced sex with food?

Gwyneth has spent 2010 filming Love Don’t Let Me Down and promoting Iron Man 2, spending virtually no time with her husband. To add fuel to the fire, there were reports Chris was making out with Kate Bosworth earlier this year!

Dispatched to interview the actress about some of her recipes, Vogue‘s Jeffrey Steingarten reports the pair enjoyed chicken, corn chowder, and gazpacho at their first meeting — a serious departure Gwyn’s kale soup days! It appears she has developed quite a knack for cooking as he reports, “they were all delicious.”

Jeffrey also marvels at the actress’ restaurant style kitchen appliances — a distraction from troubles in her marriage perhaps?

The most shocking part of the piece however is when Gwyneth Paltrow sits down and enjoys — wait for it — pizza. No doubt this was followed by a 3 hour extreme workout but still. She even had a glass of wine!

Gwyneth still looks amazing as these pictures show and seems to be exceeding at her new food endeavor — maybe food is the perfect replacement for sex!
