Is Hollywood Out Of Original Ideas? So Many Season Finales Involved Shootings!

Some of our favorite characters got SHOT during their shows’ season finales! What gives, Hollywood?

It all started last week with the season finales of One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl. Crazy Katie (Amanda Schull) suddenly returned to shoot Clay (Robert Buckley) and Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) on One Tree Hill, while Gossip Girl‘s resident man-whore Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) was left for dead on the streets of Prague. And these are only TWO of the shows that featured gun-related shockers! While we’re all about suspenseful cliffhangers, did all of our favorite shows have to end so similarly?

Grey’s Anatomy took shooting to the next level — from one or two characters to pretty much the entire hospital! Plus there was an additional death by miscarriage for Meredith (Ellen Pompeo.)

And we won’t totally spoil Lost for you guys (on case some of you forgot to set your TiVos last night) but let’s just say a few characters met their end at gunpoint.

Have we run out of story lines with so many shows on TV now? BFFs, what did you think of these season finales?
