Last night, I couldn’t believe what happened while I was watching Gossip Girl — and no, I’m not talking about how practically everyone seemed to turn their back on Serena in her time of crisis — my DVR stopped recording halfway through the show! Luckily, I’ve managed to catch up just in time to bring you information on the get-ups we saw last night. For starters, I would like to say Serena manages to have the best hair and style, even when waking up in a treatment center after being drugged for days.
In honor of Thanksgiving, Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) pulled out an outfit that left us reminiscent of the Native Americans — a Pendleton x Opening Ceremony cropped peacoat, alice + olivia Dawn plaid top ($297), Chinese Laundry wiz boots ($79), a RichRocks silver and turquoise dome ring, and an Isabella Fiore deco valentina satchel ($495).
Also staying true to the holiday theme was Blair (Leighton Meester), who wore a tartan dress from Barneys New York, a Lanvin necklace, and the Louis Vuitton yellow “Vernis” satchel. She even asked Dorota to take out a Burberry coat to complete her look.
Jenny (Taylor Momsen) stayed true to her rebellious teen style, dressing as an off-duty hooker in an oversized sweater, fishnets, and thigh-high boots — although I must admit her v-neck T by Alexander Wang ($185) get-up can definitely look so comfortable and chic (when paired with something other than fishnets). Underneath the sweater, Jenny actually had on a BCBG mini. She completed the look with a fall 2009 coat from the Zero + Maria Cornejo collection, Tania Spinelli over-the-knee boots, and a cuff, Diana Warner earrings, a necklace from the Courtney Udelson collection, and Cleobella bag.
Juliet (Katie Cassidy), who seems to truly be evil, opted for a Cut 25 mini, tights by Hue, and Christian Louboutin pumps.
