The Parents Television Council Is Attacking 'Glee' Again — Calls Sexy GQ Shoot 'Pedophilia!'

Less than a week after attacking the show for depicting two teenage girls making out, the Council releases a statement attacking the show’s recent magazine cover!

Glee may be a hit with millions of fans week after week, but there is one group they are not winning over these days — the Parents Television Council! The group released a statement about stars Lea Michele and Dianna Agron‘s sexy GQ photo shoot saying, “It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on Glee in this way. It borders on pedophilia.” Wow!

The Council had nothing to say about Cory Monteith, who remains fully clothed in all his photos. It should also be mentioned that Lea and Dianna are both 24-years-old so it is more that they portray teens that is the issue.

They went on to say, “By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show’s direction. And it isn’t good for families.”

This all comes less than a week after the Council attacked the show’s depiction of stars Heather Morris and Naya Rivera making out in the Oct. 12 episode.

What do you think HollywoodLifers? Did Glee and GQ go to far or is the Council blowing this out of proportion?
