The model turned designer shows off the collection she created in her hot new campaign
We’re used to seeing Georgia May Jagger‘s seductive stare and svelte frame splashed across billboards for Hudson Jeans, but her latest campaign isn’t just another ad — the model collaborated with the Creative Director for Hudson Jeans, Benjamin Taverniti, on a capsule collection of denim which she shows off in the latest shots!
The capsule collection, consisting of five different styles, has a rock n’ roll chic vibe. Georgia said she was inspired by her mother’s vintage Wrangler collection and, of course, the spirit of rock n’ roll! “My collection has a whole new cut, they are based on the style of jeans my mum wore in Texas in the 70’s. They are not high-waisted but they are a mid-rise which is great for us shorter girls and also very flattering on the hips and bum. We also are using new kinds of stretch denim fabrics exclusively developed for us which make them very comfortable. It was also really important that they be from a woman’s point of view so I asked all sorts of women – my mom and friends and family – for their input.” The standard skinny jeans have a higher waist line and come in a variety of washes. Some even have lace-up detailing on the back and zippers down the sides.
The collection officially launched online this month, and Georgia will be on hand at Neiman Marcus in LA on Mar. 17 to celebrate the denim!
