I can’t wait until Fifty Shades Darker Christian POV is released. These books are addicting nd once I begins reading them, I can’t put it down. I refuse to watch the movie b/c I hv an image of Christian in my head nd the guy that played him will not fit the person I imagined.

When fifty shades darker from Christian’s perspective should be released?

I really enjoyed this movie. The entire thing from start to finish . . . well, maybe not the ending, but it mirrors the book in the way it ended, so I’ve grown to love it. I’m one of those people who never jumps on the bandwagon, so I COMPLETELY ignored the books and this movie when it first hit theatres. But I finally saw it a few nights ago and was very pleasently surprised. The actors chosen for these characters were just out of this world and really brought those stiff, stick figures to life. I only began reading the book after my first time watching the movie to gain more knowledge about the sexy and mysterious Christian Grey and to say the least I was highly disappointed. Many of the phrases being said by Christian to Ana during their sexual escapades were just highly un-characteristic of the Christian I’d come to know in the movie and purely distasteful. The characters seemed to lack real depth and the writing itself was just not persuasive. I had a hard time buying just how handsome Christian was and felt his character and Ana’s were poorly described. Many of the conversations seemed out place and were sort of hard to follow (with an exception of the emails shared between the two, those were actually “nice” :-) ). I also feel Christian was continually stripped of his Dominance and his control and not by his own choosing (which takes away from the excitement and takes away from his appeal). Lastly, there were so many overused and, quite frankly, Corny, phrases in this book that it made it a really, really hard read. . . Long story short: I LOVE THE MOVIE! Very well done. A thousand times better than the book. If your thinking of reading the book to gain more insight on Christian Grey, don’t waste your time on the first installment of the trilogy, there is nothing there that isn’t already included in the movie.

I found myself engulfed in the ‘fifty shades trilogy’. (last time was the ‘twilight saga’ series). I was drawn to his past just wanting to know more and how that led him to becoming a dom. (I’m sorry but Anatasia really annoyed me at times, all the questions….lol I felt his fustrations). But in saying that the storyline was amazing, light versus dark, persistence, dedication, loyality, trust, commitment and the power of love. I decided to read GREY and found that I enjoyed that reading from his point of view a heck of lot more than the first trilogy book I sincerely hope the author writes darker and freed from his pov as well, right now I feel l’m left hanging. I have watched the movie, but personally I feel it doesn’t match up to the book (not many ever do) and after watching I was left disappointed. Maybe this is a trilogy where you are better off watching the movie first and then reading the books??? As each actor appeared I was disappointed as they didn’t come close to the ones I had created in my mind during my reading, but oh well…..
