Great Gowns For The Red Carpet & Katrina’s Fave Show Of The Day: Monique Lhuillier!

Both the Carolina Herrera and Monique Lhuillier shows had gowns that were red carpet worthy so we picked some out for our fave celebs!

Day five of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was full of great looks for the red carpet — from Carolina Herrera to Monique Lhuillier there were too many great dresses to count! I caught up with Jessica Lowndes after the show, who was gushing about the red cutout gown that came down the runway!

“The gowns were just gorgeous, she pays so much attention to detail,” the starlet gushed post-show. “I can’t list just one, I’ve got like six favorites but that red cutout dress was just so classic and beautiful!”

Monique Lhuillier was by far my fave of the day — her gowns were just exquisite and each one was so unique compared to the next. There was a delicate ivory get-up that I would love to see on Eva Mendes, a sexy printed gown that would look lovely on Jennifer Lopez, and a deep blue strapless that would look gorgeous on Lea Michele.

My first show of the day was Carolina Herrera, where the designer sent her signature conservative chic looks down the runway that would be perfect for devoted fan Dianna Agron. My fave frock from the collection was a striking orange gown that I would love to see on Kate Beckinsale.

Another gown-worthy show was Jenny Packham. The designer is fairly popular on the red carpet, but I’m sure her celeb clientele will definitely increase after her latest collection. The dresses and gowns were definitely worthy of the red carpet. My favorite, a nude embellished one shoulder gown I’m hoping to see at an awards show, while the shorter, embellished dresses would be perfect for the Carrie Underwood who’s already a huge fan of the designer.

Which dress did you really love from day five?
