Gifting suites are a big part of award season and we visited the Extra suite sponsored by L’oreal to see what stars took home the goods
The Extra Luxury Lounge featuring L’oreal Paris Beauty Suite was the hot spot to go to last weekend ahead of the 83rd annual Academy Awards. Many Oscar nominees and other celebrities, including True Grit‘s Hailee Steinfeld, Real Housewives of Miami’s Lea Black, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’s Taylor Armstrong , Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sara Rue flocked to the Four Seasons to check out this season’s best products available.
Jennifer Love Hewitt stopped by and picked up a few pairs of Level 99 pants, while she raved about their Storm wide leg in a size 28. She gushed about how she “loves a good wide-leg.” The denim brand was quite the popular booth, Taylor Armstrong and Sara Rue also stopped by.
After Level 99 Taylor stopped by the Magaschoni booth and tried on multiple clothes and scarves. The designer brand, which is often featured on Gossip Girl, gifted Taylor with her outfits and she was extremely grateful for their generosity. She then picked up some new Trident Vitality gum with vitamin C saying “My daughter will love this and I’m so glad it includes vitamins!” Taylor made sure to send individual thank you notes to each of the vendors that gave her products.
Another real housewife, from the new Miami season, Lea Black, headed over to Yoostar2, a new game which is like movie karaoke. You can pick a scene from a movie and step into it, reciting the lines and acting out in front of the camera. At the end of the game you are ranked by your performance. “I wish my son would invent something like this instead of playing video games all of the time,” joked Lea.
Next to Yoostar2 was the Heineken booth, which was also a popular place. True Blood‘s Ashley Jones joked about her costar Ryan Kwanten saying, “”Ryan Kwanten has one of these VIP cards too – I bet he really uses his A LOT!”
Hailee Steinfeld held up her new Tivo and proclaimed, “This is exciting, I love TiVo. My mom got one to record me on my very first TV show!”
Entourage‘s Rex Lee and Californication‘s Evan Handler signed autographs and grabbed hats at the stylish New Era booth before Evan headed over to Heineken.
The lounge asked celebrities to donate items from their personal wardrobe to Working Wardrobes, a charity organization that provides a new start to at-risk men, women, and young adults to help them attain dignity & self-sufficiency. Celebrities who donated items from their personal wardrobe included Rachel Bilson, Neil Patrick Harris, Lea Black, Ciara, and Kellan Lutz, among others.
