I’m really impressed with how intelligent Emily has been througout this entire process. Most bachelorettes are blinded by the hottness of the guys but she hasn’t been afraid to call guys out and has figured it out very quickly when she’s being played. I think Arie isn’t quite ready to be tied down and even tho his family is from AZ, they were pretty cold. I think the Jef would treat Emily and her daughter the best out of all the guys so I hope she choses them. He’s very sweet and genuine and a bit goofy. He could use a good haircut but other than that, I think they could be one of the few bachelor(ette) couples that actually make it.

I am so shocked that she did not choose the real guy, Chris, who I felt much more sincere than others of late. I think she will regret that choice. Letting him go, Chris, was a mistake. What is she on here for? Is she looking for love, real love, or is she looking to just be on tv. Wow!!!! I have watched many of these shows and just a couple have lasted, what a farce.

I think she blew it by eliminating Sean who was so mature, loving, kind and over the moon for her. I thought Arie’s family was very insensitive by speaking in their native language in front of her. Jef seems to be immature and has to have his families approval for everything….what kind of man is that. I hope Sean is the next Bachelor. Emily really blew it…..another wasted show that will end up with no wedding. Just saying….

Becky you hit the nail on the head. Arie’s family(mom) was very rude for talking another language in front of her and she sat there dumb-founded like what’s going on. Sean was definitely a good match but he just didn’t move quick enough for her.

It’s all about the money, which is why Jef will win. I disagree with some users that the language barrier was the issue with Arie’s family. I think she could overcome that issue alone. They were actually painfully cold and analytical– not a warm fuzzy family at all. It would be difficult for her to be accepted into that environment and they are certainly a family that is difficult to relate to or with. I have several Dutch friends and Arie’s family’s demeanor/ approach does not equal European, but is rather chilly.

Sean seemed the most emotionally mature and ready for what Emily wants, but he didn’t have the edge. So that was that.

I’m sorry but I think Sean was the best man for her I think she made a huge mistake my second choise was jef he’s sweet and all but Sean to me was the best man for her. He was good looking absolutely in love with her and ready to marry her and be a father for Ricky hope she didn’t mess up like she did with brad!!!!!!!!

i agree, i wanted her to pick Sean. Jef looks like a great guy too, but Sean definitely was the perfect choice. Who knows, he might be the next bachelor

Yes, Sean was in love with her, but was she in love with him or someone else more, that is what matters… I think she made a great choice for herself.

Don’t let Jef’s boyish good looks fool you. He is a savvy business owner and can schedule his time and place to work. His family seems solid and Emily blended well with them. Jef openly expressed his love to her early in the show, yet she was having to drag feelings out of Sean.

She seemed stressed at Arie’s hometown date and then there was the slight language barrier with his parents. Forget not that Ricki’s biological dad was a race car driver. Emily understands life on the road for a driver is a living, not a choice.

She has stated all along that she wants more babies. She has also said that she is willing to move to a new location with her man. (Her house in Charlotte is for sale.) It seems she is ready to make a new life in a different location and remove Ricki and herself from the shadows of the past.

These are a few of the many, many reasons that I believe that Jef is her man.

She will dump him! She wants the looks and the money
He has the money, but he is too young and immature.

I’ve loved Jef from the moment he skated in! He and Arie have been my picks from the start. The more I get to see Jef the more he seems a better fit for Emily. Also, he has a great family and I think Emily felt uncomfortable with the language barrier with Arie’s family. She is a perfect fit for Jef and his loving family!!!

I feel Emily should have picked Arie. There is a lot to be said for chemistry, which she does not have with Sean or Jef, and true love. I think in the end she would have been happier with true love.

He was my first pick for her many weeks ago. I’m so glad he rose to the top and she saw what I saw. She picked him even with everyone else going way out of their way to win her. Good job Emily. Good eye!

Jef is way to young for Emily. He looks like 5 years younger than he really is! Sean is good for her. He wants a family and kids, Arie is a race car driver and i think she is trying to replace her past husband which you CAN NOT do, might i add.

Just because someone looks young does not mean that they are not mentally mature and what matters the most you are in love with them; Sean can have great things going on for him (there is nothing wrong with him), however there is no spark and if i may add Jef was way more down to earth, carried more everyday situation conversations with her and was more interested in her being a mom and about Ricki. Jef’s style is different from others, different better (especially when she sends Sean home, Jef looks great and poor Sean not so much)… happy for them!
