Stylish Teens Elle Fanning, Chloe Moretz & Hailee Steinfeld Are The Ones To Watch In 2011!
Move over Blake Lively & Sienna Miller! These gals may not be household names (yet), but they’re some of the most stylish stars around — and they’re still just tweens!
Many young stars seem to struggle with defining their personal style but at just 12 and 13-years-old, Elle Fanning, Chloe Moretz, and Hailee Steinfeld never seem to slip up when it comes to looking chic and age appropriate on the carpet in high-end looks from the likes of Valentino, Marchesa, and Miu Miu — to name a few! I don’t know about you, but I was super awkward at their age — yet these girls have the confidence and class to rock a red carpet just like seasoned vets!
Most of you may know Elle as Dakota Fanning‘s adorable little sister, but at just 12-years-old, she’s really stepping out of Dakota’s shadow thanks to her chic get-up’s on the red carpet. I get just as excited to see Elle at an event as I do when Blake Lively or Kate Bosworth turn up. She pulls out versatile looks, different silhouettes, and gorgeous get-ups while looking totally confident and age appropriate. Most 12-year-old’s are too insecure to even look confident in their jeans — but not Elle! The young starlet surprised many when she was the first to wear a frock from the Marchesa spring 2011 collection — and since then she’s stayed consistent with her stellar style choices. Her most recent look was an edgy gold suede and leather Rodarte dress. Elle paired the look with a trend I love — shoes and socks. The star accessorized with Nicholas Kirkwood wedges. In the past, she’s also worn Marc Jacobs, and Valentino couture.
Another one to watch is Hailee Steinfeld — at 13-years-old, the star looks absolutely adorable on the red carpet. Just like Elle, she’s always totally appropriate and never looks like she’s trying too hard. We’ve seen a black short-sleeved lace mini from the Stella McCartney resort 2011 collection (paired with Opening Ceremony boots), a Calvin Klein sleeveless dress, Lanvin for H&M, and she even has a spread in Vanity Fair under her belt. Her most recent get-up was the metallic embroidered tulle Moschino Cheap And Chic dress she wore while promoting True Grit in NYC on Dec. 14.
Last but not least, the 13-year-old Chloe Moretz has a signature look and she loves to show it off — both on and off the carpet! In a striped shirt and high-waisted shorts, she looks very Sienna-esque yet totally oozes confidence and authenticity, making her a future red carpet staple. We’ve seen her in everything from Christian Dior, Miu Miu, and Chanel — and she manages to look chic in whatever she wears!
With Elle being the most versatile, Hailee’s long legs and flowing locks make her a future bombshell in the making, and Chloe is definitely the free spirit and future risk taker. Take a look at four of their best get-up’s and put these chic chicks on your red carpet radar!
