Elizabeth Taylor, 79, will always be remembered. The Oscar-winning actress died on March 23 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA after battling congestive heart failure. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian are taking to Twitter to express their grief.
“I am so saddened about the passing of Elizabeth Taylor!” tweets Kim. “She will always be my idol!”
The actress who made her debut at age 9 in the 1942 film There’s One Born Every Minute went on to win two Academy Awards and steal the hearts of men everywhere — and marry eight times.
Elizabeth touched the lives of many with her AIDS charity work. She served as the Founding International Chairman for the American Foundation for AIDS research and established the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation in 1991 to provide medical services for those tested positive with HIV.
