Aside from being George Clooney‘s latest arm candy, Stacy Keibler has no reason to be attending the Oscars on Sunday — but you can’t blame her for being seriously excited. In preparation for the grand red carpet, Stacy surprised us by showing up somewhere else we usually don’t expect to see her — the front row of the Marchesa show. I definitely think Stacy will be wearing Marchesa on Sunday, however I hope we see this gorgeous gown on another star on Oscar night, (but for now, we’ll give it to Stacy).
Jessica Chastain found out she was nominated for an Academy Award at the Armani Prive show — so it’s only fitting that she wears one of the glam gowns to the Oscars. Considering there were a slew of green gowns, and the color goes so well with her complexion, she definitely has quite a few to choose from.
While I can’t wait to see what some of the most stylish stars will wear on Oscar night, take a look at the dresses I think would be perfect for some of the major a-listers walking the red carpet.
The 2012 Oscars are almost here, and while stars like Rooney Mara, Emma Stone and Michelle Williams are bound to wind up on our best dressed list, these are the dresses I want to see on the stars. While I’m sure most stars will stick to their go-to designers, find out why I chose these glam gowns and let us know who you’re most excited to see on Oscar night.
While this black Michael Kors gown is super similar to what Rooney Mara wore to the Golden Globe awards, it stays true to her minimalistic chic style — and the second it came down the runway during New York Fashion Week, I instantly thought of the star (even if she does have an affinity for Givenchy).
While there were a slew of other gowns, (including a golden Jenny Packham number), that I’m dying to see on Michelle Williams, the majority of the looks from the Chanel couture show seemed like they were made for the petite star. Chances are, Michelle’s going to stick to her signature red carpet style — and that means she’ll probably be wearing Chanel.
Emma Stone is always one to watch on any red carpet, and I get so excited to see what she’s wearing come awards season. While the star has an affinity for Lanvin and Giambattista Valli, she always keeps things interesting on the red carpet — and I definitely think she would be one to rock a gorgeous printed frock, like this Monique Lhuillier gown, complete with leather belt.
While there’s a very strong chance Angelina Jolie will be wearing Versace on the red carpet for the Oscars, she has been spotted wearing Jenny Packham recently — and this red gown from the Fall 2012 collection has Angie written all over it.
I was sitting next to Shailene Woodley at the Honor Fall 2012 show, and she was really loving the pretty printed gowns that came down the runway. While this is definitely not your typical Oscar look, it’s youthful and fun — it’s perfect for the star!
