After much speculation, the blushing bride wore a gorgeous strapless gown by the queen of bridal design!
When it comes to saying ‘I Do’ every girl wants to look gorgeous on her special day! Chelsea Clinton wowed her guests in a strapless Vera Wang and I was so impressed with the bride’s choice — to be honest, if you told me she had opted for a classic, strapless, full skirted gown I would’ve expected to be let down, but luckily, I couldn’t have been anymore in love with her whimsical dress. While the shape was traditional the details were extraordinary. The silk tulle and laser-cut organza creation was ethereal, with a crisscross bodice and an intricate sash of embroidered crystals and pearls. Chelsea, known for her conservative style, stuck to minimal accessories that were equally as gorgeous — I like how she kept the focus on her amazing frock, opting for her engagement ring, diamond earrings with two seven-stone flowers, and a tennis bracelet featuring a similar flower. The bride polished off her look with satin peep-toes and a simple veil.
For the reception, Chelsea looked equally amazing when she slipped into another dress by the designer, a silk tulle Grecian gown with a narrow black belt, according to WWD.
For weeks people have gone back and forth over whether or not new brideChelsea Clinton would be wearing Vera Wang or Oscar de la Rentawhen she walked down the aisle to wed beauMarc Mezvinsky. All this seemed to be put to rest earlier this week when Chelsea popped into Vera’s bridal salon and then Friday, when the designer showed up in the small New York town of Rhinebeck for the wedding.
Her bridesmaids were also decked out in the designer, wearing strapless lavender gowns with side drape detail and a plum bow, while her groom and the rest of the men in the wedding party, (including her dad, former president Bill Clinton), were outfitted in Burberry, thanks to the couple’s dear friend and Creative Director for the brand, Christopher Bailey.
Her mother on the other hand, Hillary Clinton, went with her tried and true designer, Oscar de la Renta. Her fuchsia colored dress was wonderfully complimented by her new, softer hair and a gorgeous light pink necklace with matching earrings.
While all these looks came, no doubt, at an incredibly high price, there was also a simplicity to the outfits. No grand train or princess-like dress for Chelsea, suits as opposed to tuxedos for the men. It all seems to fit in perfectly with the wedding that, despite some earlier reports, was all about the bride and groom and not a barrage of high profile guests.

Chelsea Clinton is an fugly mother F…..r. She looks like a freaking horse…and the groom is not too far behind in the ugly department…. I don’t even want to imagine about those children they’ll have…ewwww
I’m wondering why Pamela is so upset, upset enough to even comment on this event. This wedding seems to have been a happy event. I celebrate anyone and everyone’s happiness. It’s none of anyone else’s business how much wealthy people spend or what they spend it on. Chelsea and Marc are not children; they can make their own choices on guest lists, locations, food, attire, and all the rest. Children aren’t responsible for their parents’ misdeeds or accomplishments, and it’s irrelevant to this wedding. If you comment at all, just wish this couple happiness, as you would any other human beings. Life has its rainy days, no matter who you are or how famous or infamous your relatives are. Smile. It’ll make you feel better. Remember what Thumper’s mama said to him?
Thumper: He doesn’t walk very good, does he?
Mrs. Rabbit: Thumper!
Thumper: Yes, Mama?
Mrs. Rabbit: What did your father tell you this morning?
Thumper: [clears throat] If you can’t say something nice… don’t say nothing at all.
@ Marian Pearn – WTF? – What the hell is wrong with you? what are you, a pre-k teacher? Puhhleazze, go back to Wonderland and stop posting those stupid comments!
Chelsea is just following in her mom’s footprints, marrying for political advantage. The son of a former congressman. All the right credentials. Ready to climb the political ladder.
And how about the Mezvinsky family, after leaving congress, old man Mezvensky plead guilty to 31 charges of bank fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud. All of which he blamed on bi-polar disorder. He was just released in 2008 after serving 5 years in a federal prison. I guess he wasn’t as slick as other politicians.
Who cares about this family. Much less this wedding. The dress is ugly.As for the parents. I hope now that this girl has gotten married we may hear less about them. Oh boy, I forgot. They WON’T EVER GO AWAY.Hilary is the Secretary of State.Maybe MY prayers will be answered & she will retire. I can only hope. These people are a bunch of liers. He took advantage of a naive impressionable young woman, and then lied about it under oath. They BOTH lied about their finances. I think it was called White Water.Old Bill should have been impeached. Then we wouldn’t have to hear about this wedding or have Old Hilary as Secretary of State. As for how much this wedding cost. I bet they weren’t out a dime. I bet people who like them donated their services & products just for the promotion’s. Please Please Please don’t make me have to see any more about these people. They found a sucker who would take Chelsey. I guess next they’ll have a child & we’ll have to hear all about that. I don’t read about them. Just skim over to the next story. I just had to post hoping everyone would quit writing about them.
The wedding may have cost 3-5 million but that doesn’t mean the Clintons themselves paid that. They have very wealthy friends/connections, not to mention donations from companies for name recognition.
I’m just wondering how many articles this website dedicated to Jenna Bush when she wed. Anyone have an answer?
no amount of makeup will ever help chelsea. that is one ugly girl. i can’t figure if she looks like her mother or her father but whomever she is ugly. sorry.
I sort of agree on this one… but I mean, I surely like her better than many other prettier brainless girls. So I’m glad for Chelsea and wish her all the best.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Bill Clinton’s expression says volumes. Not only is he not a happy father-of-the-bride, he looks very ill, as well. Thank heaven she was smiling! What thoughts must have been rushing through his head as he walked her down the aisle. As information is leaking out, it appears no A-List celebrities were on hand. It was, after all, HER wedding, not her parents. I am concerned about the former President’s health. Thank goodness he got to walk her down the aisle!
I agree he doesn’t look very well. But about his expression, maybe he is feeling emotional? or thinking about his little girl being married? My dad wasn’t all grins at mine and my siblings weddings, but he was very happy for us, just sad at the same time that that part of his job was over.
