Whether they’re playing in the park, taking a stroll or getting toted around by mom or dad, these celebrity kiddies dare to go bare! And experts say that’s actually good for their development!

These barefoot babies don’t care about getting their feet dirty – -they keep it casual! Come on, who doesn’t like to air their feet out every now and then? Four-year-old Suri Cruise sure does! Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ little princess may own more than 26 pairs of shoes, but that doesn’t mean she likes to wear them! And 2-year-old Seraphina Affleck would rather swing around barefoot on the monkey bars than worry about her shoes flying off!

These kiddies make the funniest faces for the camera!

HollyMoms, do you have trouble getting your kids to keep their shoes on? Some experts say that it’s important for kids to run around barefoot and that forcing kids to wear shoes when they’re too young can hamper their physical and mental development.

“Toddlers keep their heads up more when they are walking barefoot,” says podiatrist Tracy Byrne. “The feedback they get from the ground means there is less need to look down, which is what puts them off balance and causes them to fall down.” She says that walking barefoot develops the muscles and ligaments of the foot and contributes to good posture.

That may be the case, but when 4-year-old rockstar Kingston Rossdale runs around barefoot on the sidewalk barefoot than wear his boots, I hope he watches out for obstacles! And I’m guessing that his mom, Gwen Stefani, and dad, Gavin Rossdale, don’t mind washing off his filthy feet!
