'Catching Fire' Casting Call: Who Should Play Finnick, Johanna, Mags & More
Rob is as interested in music as acting — he might even record soon! (FameFlynet)
With the 75th Annual Quarter Quell coming up, new friendships — and deaths — are just around the corner! Find out who we want to cast as the sequel’s main characters.
Of course, our beloved Jennifer Lawrence will stay as Katniss, along with Josh Hutcherson as Peeta and Liam Hemsworth as Gale, but a new set of games means a new cast.
They were all killed off in the first movie — RIP Rue.
But with Katniss’ 80-year-old pal Mags and the beautiful Finnick in the mix, Hunger Games’ new director Francis Lawrence is going to have a lot of fun with casting calls.
Read on to find out who we want to see play the sequel’s main tributes!
Robert Pattinson as Finnick Odair
Like we said before, Finnick is described as a very handsome heartbreaker — which is why we’d be happy to see R-Patz take the role. Finnick is from District 4 and won the Games 10 years ago. He’s described as one of the most attractive people in the world.
Robert Pattinson (FameFlynet)
Peter Facinelli as Betee
Betee, a winner from District 3, is good with gadgets. I figure since he played an odd human-vampire and is in his 30s, he’d make a great Betee.
Peter Facinelli (FameFlynet)
Emmy Rossum as Wiress
Beetee’s partner from District 3 is also kind of nerdy. Emmy would play an excellent brainiac in the arena.
Emmy Rossum (FameFlynet)
Betty White as Mags
Mags is Finnick’s partner from District 4. She’s 80-years-old, but becomes one of Katniss’ best friends in the arena. Nobody else but Betty White could play this role!
Betty White (FameFlynet)
Mila Kunis as Johanna Mason
Hailing in from District 7, Johanna is a young, fierce 20s-something who won the Games when she was 14-years-old. She pairs up with Katniss and Peeta in the Quarter Quell and is also Finnick’s partner.

Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss
Josh Hutcherson as Peeta
Liam Hemsworth as Gale

“This is one of the best palettes that I’ve ever seen! It’s got 24 different shadows in a great range of shades, five blushes, a highlighter, four lip glosses, an eyeliner and a shadow base. Plus, it’s really cute! It’s inspired by the film ‘Dark Shadows’ and it gives you three different ways to get the film’s stars’ makeup looks. It’s so cute you could bring it out and use it as a purse — it has everything in there that you could need!”
“I’m usually a simple face cleanser kind of girl, but decided to treat my skin and this charcoal cleanser made me feel like I was at a spa! Once you apply the cleanser to your face, it thickens and really makes you feel like you’re doing a good thing for your skin! It doubles as a makeup remover which is great to cut down on steps before bed. Definitely the most unique face wash I’ve used!”
“I’m obsessed with long, dramatic lashes and I love the way they curl up when I use the curler. Whether I’m curling them before I apply mascara or leaving them natural, the curl makes them so noticeable — and it only takes a second!”
“This lotion was the perfect skin-soothing solution for me. I’m an active guy, and it didn’t get oily and dried quickly. Plus it smelled great!”
“This spray is perfect to detangle my knots after a messy hair day. I use it on my damp hair after a shower and my hair feel silky and soft when it air dries. And it’s great for summer after a day at the beach!”
