Cannes Film Festival Fashion: Check Out Rachel McAdams & Salma Hayek!
The two stars both looked so chic opting for frocks with embellished florals, but who do you think had the best get-up?
After seeing gorgeous gowns on gals like Kate Beckinsale and Eva Longoria at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, I couldn’t wait to see who would turn up on the red carpet this year! Now that the festival is officially under way, we’ve already spotted Rachel McAdams and Salma Hayek — and it looks like they tried to coordinate their clothes!
Salma turned up at the Puss In Boots photocall in a leather strapless cognac dress from the Gucci fall collection. She accessorized with the same purple belt we saw on the runway and added a floral appliqué shrug to her look. In another instance I would say she shouldn’t have added the shrug, but I think it’s perfect — especially at Cannes! I love how she embraced the opportunity to turn up the glamour and high fashion at the festival, and I hope more stars follow her lead.
Rachel also looked so appropriate and pretty when she turned up at the photocall for Midnight In Paris, wearing a fitted white dress with floral detailing on the pockets and the shoulders. She completed the look with a pair of beige Ferragamo pumps.
