Browse our gallery of hot summer shows & tell us which ones YOU’LL be tuning in to!
Summer used to be a time for trips to the beach and outdoor cookouts with friends, but thanks to the shows on this list, the HollywoodLife.com staff is going to be glued to our couches all season long! From action-packed favorites like Teen Wolf and True Blood to new addictions like Bunheads and Snooki & JWOWW, our DVRs will be firing on all cylinders in the coming months.
Beverly Hills Nannies
Premieres: July 11 at 9 p.m. on ABC Family
Hot guys? Babies? Hot guys with babies? You can guarantee we won’t miss an episode of this new reality series. We’re already obsessed, and we haven’t even seen it yet!
Returns: June 28 at 11 p.m. on MTV
She may have finally found the perfect guy — HollywoodLife.com is totally “Team Jake” — but Jenna (Ashley Rickards) has a whole new dilemma to tackle on the show’s second season: Did her mom really write that “care-frontation” letter?!
Snooki & J-WOWW
Premieres: June 21 at 10 p.m. on MTV
If you thought drunk Snooki made for must-see TV, just wait until you see pregnant Snooki! With her best friend J-WOWW by her side, Snooki will learn the perils of becoming an adult, finding an apartment, and (oops!) having a baby.
Returns: June 12 at 10 p.m. on MTV
Because all good train wrecks must come to an end, MTV’s four original teen moms — Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Farrah Abraham — will say goodbye this summer as Teen Mom airs its final season. (Don’t worry, we’ve got Social Services on speed dial.)
Returned: May 14 at 9:30 p.m. on ABC
The boys of The Bachelorette may not be as catty and fun as the ladies of The Bachelor, but they don’t really need to be. They just need to show up and look pretty, and we’ll be satisfied.
Returns: June 3 after the MTV Movie Awards
If the second season of MTV’s addictive hit is anything like its first, it’ll be a weekly horror movie. Except the guys — hello Tyler Posey, Colton Haynes and Tyler Hoechlin — get objectified even more than the girls, and we’re totally fine with that.
America’s Got Talent
Returned: May 14 at 8 p.m. on NBC
We were worried about Howard Stern joining the panel of judges, but fortunately, hasn’t asked any of the contestants to take their tops off — yet.
Returns: June 10 at 9 p.m. on HBO
We respect Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) decision to remain single in True Blood‘s upcoming fifth season — as long as Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Alcide (Joe Manganiello) also decide to remain naked. At all times.
Premieres: June 11 at 9 p.m. on ABC Family
We’d be excited for Bunheads — the story a Vegas showgirl (Sutton Foster) who lands a job at a dance studio in a sleepy town — even if it didn’t reunite Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino with star Kelly Bishop. Fortunately, it does.
Jane By Design
Returns: June 5 at 9 p.m. on ABC Family
Jane (Erica Dasher) will finally come face-to-face with her estranged mother (Teri Hatcher) in the second-half of season one — and we’re desperate to see the reunion unfold!
Pretty Little Liars
Returns: June 5 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family
Discovering the identify of their texting terrorist was only the beginning for the ladies of Rosewood. Serial killers? Evil twins? God only knows what’s to come in season three. And by “God,” I of course mean “A.”
