Avengers: End Game Characters

Avengers: End Game Characters — When ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ ended, we knew that Thanos gaining all of the Infinity Stones and snapping his fingers meant half of the universe’s population would be gone. And that, of course, meant half of the Marvel heroes would perish. While we saw some of those deaths happen onscreen, some characters’ fates remained unknown. Not anymore. The ‘Avengers: Endgame’ posters are out, and they’re coded — colored photos mean they’re alive, black and white…dead.

Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, is alive, as we know. He saw his friends die in Wakanda, and he’s now fighting with the remaining Avengers to bring them back to life.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Scott Lang/Ant-Man: ALIVE. Scott wasn’t with the Avengers when the Snappening happened; he was in the Quantum Realm being monitored by Hank, Hope, and Janet….until they got snapped. The last we saw, he had shown up at the Avengers compound to find help.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: ALIVE. Natasha fought in Wakanda with the rest of the Avengers, and made it out without getting snapped. She’s camping out at the compound with the other Avengers.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Okoye: ALIVE. The Wakanda warrior saw most of her country get destroyed first by the war, and then by Thanos’ snap.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Bruce Banner/The Hulk: ALIVE. Notice that Bruce is on the poster, not Hulk. Hopefully, that means that he’s finally able to control it!

Avengers: End Game Characters — Tony Stark/Iron Man: ALIVE. Somehow. The last we saw of Iron Man, he was floating in his destroyed spaceship with Nebula, slowly dying. He sent out one last call to Pepper as his oxygen began to run out.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Thor: ALIVE. Thor saw his entire planet collapse and all of its citizens perish by Thanos before the Snappening even happened. He fought with the Guardians and made it to Earth, and manged to survive.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel: ALIVE. We found out that Carol lived when she showed up at the Avengers compound after getting Nick Fury’s page.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Nebula: ALIVE. Nebula, along with Tony, survived, only to be stranded on a broken spaceship.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Clint Barton/Hawkeye/Ronin: ALIVE. Clint was stuck at home on house arrest during ‘Infinity War’. It’s thought that his family got snapped.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Pepper Potts: ALIVE. Speaking of rescuing Tony… Pepper becomes a hero named Rescue in the comics. Could she be coming to get Tony and Nebula?

Avengers: End Game Characters — Rocket Raccoon: ALIVE. We had to watch Groot die in Rocket’s arms so, this wasn’t an exactly happy outcome for him.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Drax: DEAD. Rocket was the only Guardian to survive the Snap. Drax fought to the very end, though.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch: DEAD. Wanda got snapped after seeing her love, Vision, die.

Avengers: End Game Characters — T’Challa/Black Panther: DEAD. Dude literally just became king after seeing his father die AND opening Wakanda’s borders.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Doctor Stephen Strange: DEAD. Doctor Strange died after determining that there were 14 million outcomes for battling Thanos, and only one way they could win.

Avengers: End Game Characters — Groot: DEAD. Groot died in Rocket’s arms. He was still teenage Groot at this point. Writer James Gunn let everyone know that his last “I am Groot” was telling Rocket that he loved him.
