Alanis Morissette Performs With Her Band — Alanis Morissette is a legendary alt-rock singer from Canada who rose to fame in the early 1990s with her soulful, raw, and edgy ballads and scathing lyrics. She became a household name in 1995 when her debut album, ‘Jagged Little Pill’ was released. The album featured some of her most iconic hits, like ‘You Oughta Know’, ‘Hand In My Pocket’, ‘All I Really Want’, and ‘Ironic’. The ‘You Oughta Know’ music video was constantly played on MTV, and the song regained life years later when it was revealed that the angry lyrics were about ‘Full House’ star Dave Coulier, of all people. Alanis has also appeared in films, most memorably in 1999 as God in Kevin Smith’s ‘Dogma’. She married rapper Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway in 2010, and they had their son, Ever Treadway, that same year.
