Alan Alda — Photos Of The Beloved ‘MASH’ Actor — Alan Alda has been charming audiences for decades. The veteran actor, who was born January 28, 1936, starred as Hawkeye Pierce on the military dramedy ‘MASH’ from 1972 to 1983 before going on to lead films like ‘Same Time, Next Year’ (1978), ‘Crimes and Misdemeanors’ (1989), ‘Flirting with Disaster’ (1996), and ‘Marriage Story’ 2019. He would also appear on the series ‘The West Wing’ and ’30 Rock’ in recurring roles.

Over his career, Alan has won six Emmys and six Golden Globes. He was nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar in 2004 for his role in ‘The Aviator’. In addition to his success in showbiz, Alan is a dedicated family man who has been married to wife Arlene since 1951. They have three children.
