While these five girls opted for totally different dresses, I thought they all looked amazing!
When it comes to making a statement on the red carpet there were seasoned vets, (like model mom Heidi Klum), young starlets, (like Nina Dobrev), and award winners, (like Claire Danes), who turned up at the 2010 Emmys Awards. Initially, Heidi was my fave look of the night — especially since it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen the model look so sexy and chic. Clad in a black strapless Marchesa mini and a statement Lorraine Schwartz necklace, her leggy look was show-stopping! Heidi knows how to break out a short frock for such a formal affair.
However, after taking one look at Nina Dobrev, Heidi was quickly knocked down to second place. In a form-fitting one shoulder Zuhair Murad couture gown the star opted for the perfect frock for her first time at the Emmys.
Claire Danes couldn’t have found a better dress to wear while accepting her Emmy — the sequin Armani Privé dress with a mermaid silhouette was stunning! She definitely was the best dressed winner of the evening.
We’re usually used to seeing Emily Blunt in the spotlight, but for the Emmys she took on the role of supportive wife as she stood by her hubby — although her feminine lavender Christian Dior gown definitely drew some attention! The white floral appliqués gave it a pretty vintage vibe. Emily paired her frock with a Lauren Merkin clutch.
While many may think January Jones‘ blue Atelier Versace was too busy to be beautiful, I completely disagree. The star, who doesn’t work with a stylist, broke out the most interesting look of the night. The dress, which started out short in the front and was finished off with a train was made of silk petals. The star paired the elaborate look with a simple pair of black Miu Miu pumps. I commend her for taking such a chance on the red carpet and I’m obsessed with the silhouette.
What do you think of my top five from Emmys night?
